One of the most beautiful buildings in Havana. Especially now that it has been restored (and restored perfectly). The Capitol was built in 1929 under President Gerardo Machado. It is curious that the image of the current president was on the reliefs inside the building, but in 1933 Machado was overthrown, and his image was erased (and they erased it without really worrying about its appearance). The Capitol in Havana is similar to the Capitol in Washington, but online sources claim that the American building was not a prototype of the Havana one. Perhaps so, because this capitol is similar, for example, to St. Peter's Cathedral... You can approach the Capitol, go to the steps, and take a picture. If the day turns out to be sunny (and are there any non-sunny days here?), then the blue sky will perfectly match the white Capitol. The building, in my opinion, is a must-see, but you are unlikely to miss it - the Capitol is located in the very center of Havana.

An interesting building of the current parliament. The ticket office is on the opposite side across the street, entrance is $ 20, payment is made with a Mir card, you will need a passport or passport photo

A wonderful parliament. It is higher than the American one, although it was built 126 years later. It's a pity that you can't go inside. And it's a shame. There was a barker standing near the Capitol with a sign for a taxi. I asked him how to get to Hemingway's Floridita. He smiled: it's better to get there, go far. Although, my wife and I didn't know that there was a 500-meter walk. "How much does it cost to get there?" we ask. He: "Ten dollars." Well, I think, of course, let's go. We took a taxi around, picked it up, and said, "Twenty dollars." I got angry.:: Why? And he shows in small print on the sign at the bottom: 10 person. Per person, then. And he's smiling. Divorce for money. Well, it's your own fault. You can't relax in Cuba. There are no friends here..
