The establishment left me with very mixed feelings. On one hand, the interior is beautiful and authentic, with a great old-school vibe, and the food was truly delicious with generous portions. On the other hand, the staff's attitude was absolutely rude, starting right from the management. I was particularly shocked by the female manager. When our teachers politely asked for tea, she snapped back in a rude tone, saying, 'You can have it if you pay for it,' and then proceeded to lecture adults for not ordering it sooner. Such arrogance and lack of respect for guests — especially for the older generation — is completely unacceptable. The waiters were also aggressive and constantly on the verge of starting a conflict. It’s a real shame that despite such great cuisine, the atmosphere feels more like a marketplace brawl than the legendary hospitality of Samarkand."

Staffs are sooo bad. I ordered and waited here for more than half an hour. I asked for the meal, and they said it was not available… Then I told them to reorder, their attitude was very bad and arrogant!

Should not go the restaurant. We ordered 800gram lamb meat “Kuurdak” then they served huge femur bone and over fried small and hard meat. Very much difference with picture. And most sad issue was every employee was take dinner and watch us and lough and talk. It was terrible experience that's ever in Uzbekistan. They should shame it.

A wonderful pilaf center cafe in a truly Uzbek style, in addition to the usual tables, there are two trestle tables that completely immerse you in the atmosphere of Central Asia, one of which we hurried to occupy. The walls are beautifully decorated with handmade ceramics, musical instruments, and national costumes, which you can try on and take pictures in for absolutely free. Very tasty Samarkand pilaf, shish kebab, delicious draft beer. Our waiter was attentive and responded quickly to all requests and requests. Cozy, delicious, atmospheric. My child and I have only positive memories. I recommend you to visit!

We spent several days in this location and managed to try almost all the menus. We honestly hope that the vacation calories didn't count. The pilaf is really one of the best we've tried (for comparison, we didn't go to Zarqand). The shish kebab is cooked perfectly, the lula is juicy and rich, and the shurpa is just a special treat. I would like to mention the service separately. We were regularly approached, asked if we liked everything, if we needed anything else. After the barbecue, toothpicks and small change were brought without unnecessary words, but attention to detail is very captivating. They also brought craft beer and coffee from a nearby store. The atmosphere is like visiting good friends. We will definitely recommend this place to your loved ones. And special greetings to Nabi, you really are a master of your craft and you do it with all your heart. Thank you all!

This is not a pilaf center, as many might think from the name, but just a modest cafe with national cuisine, but very worthy of high marks. Inside there is a pleasant cool atmosphere, tables for different numbers of guests, there is even a cot. The interior is lavishly but not intrusively decorated with products of national culture - clothes, jewelry, dishes, musical instruments, etc. The service is very polite, friendly and fast. As is often the case, the cafe is a family business, so relatives work, and everyone understands each other perfectly. The food is very tasty and high-quality, and even - shhh - you can bring your own alcohol) The prices are very reasonable. For example, a hearty meal for 6 people will cost about 4 thousand Russian rubles. As soon as we found out about this place, we purposefully went there to eat. 5 stars definitely!!!

An atmospheric place, especially appreciated by tourists! Gorgeous pilaf, cooked several times a day. Lyulya is generally delicious🥰 Local craft beer, and the children have something to eat. They serve it pretty quickly, for such a busy schedule. The staff is friendly, they will tell you everything, show you, and advise you! Thanks! We only have dinner here

It's a very cozy cafe. Fast service. Polite waiters. We ordered pilaf for two with my husband, a salad and a couple of kebabs. A huge portion of pilaf, overeaten. Delicious food. Lyulya-kebab was packed with us. There are all kinds of beers, from light to dark, and cold. Prices don 't bite 👍

Very tasty juicy lula (be sure to order!) and great pilaf. The decoration inside the hall is very bright and authentic for Uzbekistan, you can sit on a cot and enjoy a meal and the incredible colorful canopies under the ceiling.

It was the first restaurant where we had lunch in Uzbekistan, and now, after visiting other restaurants in Samarkand and Bukhara, I want to say that this place deserves the highest praise. The prices are very pleasant (we didn't have dinner cheaper than lunch), they cook heartily, serve quickly. Pilaf is above all praise, shurpa, salads - everything is fine. National flavor in the design.

It's a very nice and warm place)). Friendly guys who cook for themselves. They speak Russian very well. Chuchvara, pilaf, salads for pilaf and meat, lula fire. As a rule, there is no samsa in the evening, it is prepared during the day. The prices are affordable. We were satisfied.

If you are used to Michelin restaurants, then pass by! And if you want to feel warm, cozy and delicious at home, feel free to come in! We visited this place twice (we would have come 3 times, but we didn't have time), and both times there was a lightning-fast service, fresh, delicious food and an incredibly charming waiter Nabi! Thank you very much!

It was my first day in Samarkand and I was really hungry! And of course, pilaf! I saw the swim center and ran there. Samarkand pilaf, the portions are very large, the salads, the prices, well, I just liked everything! And what a wonderful waiter! Super service, care and attention. No pathos, delicious and pleasant! Thank you 😉

I've been here a couple of times, I've taken shurpa and pilaf. The food is hearty, delicious and not at all expensive. Personally, I have a lot of fat, so I only eat pilaf from above, where it is drier, but it tastes great. The portions are large, the price tag is nice.

The pilaf is delicious, there is a lot of meat, add a kalampyr (pepper) when serving. However, pilaf connoisseurs should take into account that the pilaf is "Samarkand" (which is quite logical), respectively, the rice is slightly "aldente", unlike the Tashkent wedding rice, where the rice is more boiled... The atmosphere is comfortable, the price is average, the location is top. Samarkand beer and wine are also on the menu. P.S. Shish kebab and manti are also very tasty. I recommend.

Oddly enough, it's a solid four. The center has the most durable and delicious restaurant. You can always have time to eat pilaf, unlike the much-vaunted pilaf branches at the airport exit. I serve you very quickly. The most delicious samsa that was tasted in Samarkand. We did not reach Samsa on Kakanskaya Street due to the fact that it ends already at 14:00. In general, a snack after a walk or on the way from one attraction to another is suitable.

I don't understand why this place has a good rating. We ordered a lamb shish kebab, and after 20 minutes of waiting, they brought an uncooked shish kebab with bones. At the same time, the waiter began to convince that the lamb shish kebab should be with bones. The only food I liked was sliced vegetables and tea .The flatbread was hard-obviously not fresh. A sad impression remained from this institution.

An ordinary cafe, notable only for its location near Registan. The pilaf is normal, it is taken out quickly, there is a lot of oil, the portion is small by local standards. The atmosphere is oppressive, there is no music, all the guests are watching rils loudly.

It was delicious, they brought it quickly, the interior is beautiful, there is Wi-Fi, there is a place to wash your hands and a toilet. I'm in Samarkand for 2 days from Russia, everything is amazing for us here. I can cook pilaf myself (my husband is Uzbek), we live in St. Petersburg, where they sell Uzbek food a lot. That's why we're familiar. The pilaf is delicious, the meat is delicious. Samsa is really small. In St. Petersburg, they only sell large samsa. The sauce is delicious. Thanks!

We came by chance, immediately upon arrival in Samarkand, noticing the loud name. We took lagman, manti, lamb and ground shish kebab, Achuchuk tomato salad and tea. Lagman is tasteless, bland, there is no real taste and aroma of Uzbek spices, it has nothing to do with the generally accepted dish in Uzbekistan (I come from Uzbekistan myself, I understand this a lot). Noodles are boiled in fresh water, vegetables are boiled, overcooked. The lumpy shish kebab is veined and a little harsh. The mantels are overcooked, they were served not with kaymak, but with a strange sauce, it tastes like it turned sour, and it's also sticky, they were afraid to eat. Of all the dishes, salad and tea were very tasty, the rest was 3 points out of 5. We ate without pleasure, for the first few days in Uzbekistan.

A small outdoor cafe, just in the alley, near the center. Pilaf is prepared right there. Very tasty Samarkand pilaf! A serving of excellent pilaf comes with a salad and a pot of tea. After all, Uzbek pilaf should be tasted in Uzbekistan. The prices are pleasant. Clean, simple and cozy enough for a small outdoor cafe. I advise you to visit!

We arrived in Samarkand hungry and quite late, so we chose the Swimcenter nearest to us. An ordinary dining room with a not very refined interior, it seems to have been opened quite recently. We were served fairly quickly, but it was clear from the dishes that both pilaf and mantoux had been cooked most likely in the morning. The tortillas seemed to have been warmed up too. But the sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and herbs, however, were fresh. Ayran and green tea also proved to be on top. The staff is polite and knows Russian. I didn't like the fact that several guys were sitting on the next couch, drinking beer and taking turns drinking hookah, while openly staring at us and making witty comments in our native language, judging by the laughs.

The pilaf itself is delicious, but it's absolutely impossible to chew the meat, it's full of veins. It is worth remembering that pilaf can be eaten before 12 p.m. and after 6 p.m., as I understand it, this is the case everywhere - cooking features.

Very tasty. But! Arrive no later than 12:15 - 12-30. Later, there will be no mutton. And from 13:15 - 13:30 they can put up a sign saying "there is no pilaf." Take the supplements (they bring a large dish with salads and other pleasant additions to the pilaf). They are not expensive. Remember that 8000 is less than 70 rubles :) In addition, there is a bowl with ayran in which a cucumber is finely chopped. He drank straight from the bowl. That's really not to come off and drink the pilaf delicious! Tea is at the end... Magic baklava for tea. Have a nice. By the way, my wife and I have been to Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara for 11 days. The best pilaf is here!
