The main advantage is the location. Those who love historical Almaty should appreciate it. The interior is of course already quite outdated, as well as the plumbing. Delicious quality breakfast. Very good room cleaning. I was glad to have an orthopedic mattress. What I personally found inconvenient was the location of the outlets and very little lighting. And high audibility between rooms. But in general, it is quite justified for its cost.
