I want to climb this fortress every time we come to Abkhazia! The climb is not very difficult, about 40 minutes, and it rewards us with magnificent views of the Novoafonskaya embankment with its sights - the monastery, the Ptsyrkha station, etc. In addition, after a walk uphill, on a hot day, at the foot of the fortress, next to an ancient temple, a miracle awaited us-a holy spring, a well from which any traveler can drink.
