I visited the Volna cafe in Atyrau at the end of April: it's already warm at this time, and after a walk by the Caspian Sea, hot tea and fresh pastries are perfect. The average check per person is 2500-4000 tenge (~500-850 rubles), the portions are generous, payment is accepted both by card and in cash. Parking at the entrance is small, but our diesel XC90 got up without problems on the next street — a minute walk to the cafe. Life hack: come before 12:00 or after 15:00 — there are fewer queues at this time, and the waiters have time to pay attention to each guest. Set aside 40-60 minutes for the visit: that's enough time to eat and relax before the trip. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cozy place with local cuisine in Atyrau — at the end of April it is ideal for a comfortable break on the way.
