It is a beautiful place, you can take a bus for 2 GEL or walk for free, buying only a ticket. There is a lot of walking and everything is up the stairs, it is not very interesting without a tour, there are no tours in Russian. There are many lizards and snakes basking on the rocks. When a person appears, they run away. The stairs are very steep in some places.

An interesting place. It is very similar to the Turkish ancient cities in Cappadocia, but the preservation is much better. Entrance is 15 lari per person + 2 lari transfer, which you don't have to take, it's not far to go there, even if it's up. We just didn't have much time, we arrived a little late, took a transfer. To walk there, if thoughtfully and with photos, then for two hours, probably. Yes, you can take an audio guide for 10-12 GEL, it seems, or a personal guide for 45. There are wonderful views from the walls! There is a functioning temple inside, you can enter if you wish. If you haven't seen anything like this, then it's definitely worth a visit. But even for us, who have seen quite a lot of ancient cities, it was interesting)

It's a great place. An unusual city in a rock (mountain city). Unlike anything previously seen (in Crimea). At the beginning of the inspection, there seemed to be nothing special-notches in the rock. But the further along the route you go, the more it opens up. Incredible rock church, beautiful frescoes. Then the passages inside the rock between the rooms are breathtaking. And then, when you come out of them, the view is awesome from the cliff! A must-visit place!
