There are just a lot of impressions from a trip to Vardzia. And delight. We went with the Sputnik company. The road from Tbilisi to Vardzia is, of course, long, but it didn't become a problem for us.: the road is picturesque, we passed many beautiful places. And, of course, nature… The Vardzia fortress simply amazed with its scale, thoughtfulness, and antiquity. During the tour, we walked through the labyrinths, going up and down the old steps. I had to duck in some passages.… Separately, I would like to say about the temple and its incomparable frescoes ... very exciting. Be sure to visit! It's worth it!

You should definitely come to this place, especially if you plan to stay in Borjomi. Unfortunately, Vardzia has not been preserved in its original form to this day, but even if only a small part has been preserved, and not everything is accessible to the public, you take at least 3 hours to get from the entrance to the cave city to the exit. You can get from the ticket offices by minibus, you can walk. We took a minibus, but in general it was possible to walk there for free. we had a free visit, we watched everything we wanted, no one pushed or stepped on our feet. But I think we would have received no less emotions from the tour..
