The memorial is usually empty. Our soldiers who died in Berlin before the Victory swore in this place. A place of awe. The Germans take very careful and meticulous care of these giant graves. They are decorated with bronze wreaths and there is a monument to the mother on the way, which is almost worse than the monument to our liberators. And two more soldiers, bent over. There are words in both German and Russian, and, of course, the main monument is magnificent. White stairs... It's there, and there's a museum under it. And my heart is in the trash! The Germans are doing well. We saved it all. Everything is very clean there and the grass is trimmed to 8 cm. And the trees are trimmed, as if they were crying...

I visited the Glory Park of the Soviet Soldiers of Liberation in 2012. When you go to the main monument to the Liberator Soldier, there were pedestals on the sides and there were large sculptures of our soldiers on them (one of our fellow citizens, a teenager, even tried to climb onto the sculpture of a soldier... it was creepy to look at, of course, but she was pulled away). I don't see any soldiers in the photo right now, and there were at least 10 of them on both sides.
