Tiflis Veranda is a place with a beautiful view and a strange attitude towards guests. The location is good: The top floor of the hotel is in the area of the sulfur baths, the panorama is excellent — that's why they come here. The first few times I went for cocktails and drinks. Some guests came to visit me, I drove them around the city and decided to arrange a dinner for them there. Since I had a small dog (a Pomeranian) with me, I asked from below to call the restaurant and ask if there would be any problems. The reception downstairs said it was resolved, there were no questions. I go upstairs and I hear from the receptionist, who asked one of the staff: "why did they let them in at all?" No comments. After that, I don't want to stay anymore — they just turned around and left. And another moment that finally finishes. The menu says in small print: +10% service charge. That is, you see one price and you pay another. The logical question is: why 10%? Why not 50%? Or 100%? And then what — is the client also obliged to pay for it, because something is written somewhere at the bottom? Where is the line of adequacy at all? Such things are not about service, it's about trying to make the price "prettier" than it really is. Bottom line: yes, it looks good. Everything else raises questions. A place where marketing clearly outstrips respect for the guest.

The view from the restaurant is great and the cuisine is delicious, but the service does not match the stated cost of the dishes. At an above-average price, waiters should be more competent and not only take out dishes, but also clean up dirty plates, napkins, etc., and do not forget what the guests ordered.
