Review of Kim Vladimir Valentinovich (venereologist/urologist, office 113): I fell for the doctor's high rating, and I felt very sorry for him. 1. The doctor was not on site during the appointment. The doctor was not at the medical center at the time of the appointment. He didn't know who I was, and he only showed up after I found his number at the front desk and called him. The reception started almost 40 minutes late. 2. Familiarity and disrespectful behavior. Inappropriate jokes in communication: - "Do you like to drink beer?" - on inspection, – "What, you haven't lifted anything heavier than a mouse?" — during blood collection. At the same time, he missed the vein twice after that, it turned out only on the third attempt. 3. Incompetent and commercially motivated recommendations. – He claimed that PCR is "uninformative" and blood analysis is better. Although in modern medicine, the opposite is true: PCR detects an active infection, and a blood test shows only the fact of contact in the past. – He offered to take additional, non-mandatory tests that had no diagnostic value. It seemed that the doctor was as interested as possible in getting money, rather than actually helping the patient. – After the tests came, where, of course, a bunch of STIs were confirmed, he insisted on immunotherapy, while devaluing antibiotics - without diagnosis and confirmation. It's good that I double-checked. After the reception, I passed urine PCR tests in an independent laboratory - everything was negative. There were no infections, and it became clear that his appointments were premature and erroneous. If I hadn't double-checked, I would have started unnecessary treatment, and not only me, but also my sexual partner would have suffered. I'm afraid to imagine how much time, money and nerves would have gone into the void during the treatment "from the air". --- Conclusion: The doctor was not on site, made mistakes when taking blood, behaved familiarly, gave outdated and potentially harmful recommendations, and sought to impose unnecessary tests. I strongly do not recommend it.
