The park is modest in size, but on a vibe. It is open to the public daily. Entrance to the park is free. Park Features: - Tropical vegetation. In the park you can find water lilies, wild orchids, ficus-banyan trees, roses and other exotic plants. - Historical elements. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by massive iron gates, which tourists jokingly call the "gateway to paradise." They have been preserved since the time of the Sultan's palace. - The National Museum. It is located in the surviving part of the former palace. The museum features artifacts related to the history of the Maldives: sultans' regalia, antique weapons, gold-embroidered robes, and pre-Islamic artifacts. One of the famous exhibits is the stone Buddha head found by the traveler Thor Heyerdahl. - Additional facilities. The park has an abstract fountain, a playground, benches, and in the evenings, trees are decorated with colorful illumination. - Cultural events.
