I was taken to Semey. I came to Saffron on the recommendation of the driver, among the recommendations were: Saffron, the loft, and a certain Aura. I chose Saffron. I took the warm beef salad first, the signature one, then decided.... that's not enough, and I also took awesome beef in a pot with mushrooms. I realized that it was already a lot, but damn, it was delicious. The signature beef salad came out at a little over 2 thousand tenge / about 350 rubles, and by St. Petersburg - Moscow standards, such a dish would have cost 700-1000 rubles, taking into account how many delicious vegetables there were and, most importantly, tender beef. As a result, with an Americano, a liter of Coca-Cola and two dense and quite healthy dishes, I gave about 7+ thousand tenge or 1000 + rubles, and ... - it was fast; - both dishes were delicious! - clear service (and we do not forget that with all due respect to Kazakhstan, this is Kazakhstan, and the service here is its own, colorful... There were a lot of people, by the way, and this was on a weekday. I bet 5 🌟 safely and with pleasure - well done guys.

We visited the Shafran establishment and were extremely disappointed. The service level is zero. The waiter took the order, recording everything on his cell phone, after which he announced the menu again, but, as it turned out later, this did not help to avoid mistakes. Serving dishes is random, without logic. First they brought me veal in a pot, which turned out to be ordinary boiled meat, served for formality in a pot, and even tough. An hour later (!) they brought the second dish, tom yam, which should have mussels on the menu, but there were no mussels. The whole “filling” consists of two rings of squid, a couple of shrimps and pieces of fish. It tastes mediocre. For the rest of the family, meals were also brought at different times, and the wait stretched to 1 hour and 15 minutes. One salad and one hot dish (chopped lagman) they were never submitted. The call button was pressed five times, they came twice, but there was no result. The quality of the food is at the level of a regular dining room, the service is worse than in budget cafes. The administrator is absent or does not perform his duties. Such an experience is unacceptable — we do not recommend visiting.
