I visited St. Daniel's Square in Samarkand — the place is simply amazing! It is very atmospheric and filled with special tranquility. There is a harmony of nature, history and spirituality here. I was especially impressed by the tree, which is over 600 years old! It is said to be associated with the grave of St. Daniel, and it is considered a symbol of life and longevity. Recently, the tree bloomed — a real miracle, which the locals took as a good sign. According to one version, this is due to increased attention to the place and care for it, and some believe that this is a manifestation of blessing. I strongly advise you to come here to slow down a bit, enjoy the silence and feel the special energy of this place. Great for both walking and quiet reflection.
