When it came time to calculate, I asked them what rate they would count at, and the waiter replied "today's rate" and showed the rate, which was 45.71. I asked in Turkish, would you count 45? He replied yes. But when the waiter brought the change (I gave $100), it turned out that they counted 40 at the exchange rate! The difference in price turned out to be 500 lire! Although I was preparing tips for this waiter, this situation made me very upset. My relatives and friends won't come to this place anymore! All other restaurants in Turkey accept dollars from us and count us at the Internet exchange rate. And this restaurant decided to "enrich itself" on us. It won't impoverish me, but the situation is very disgusting.
