The original location. Interesting in every way. The car was left in the free parking lot at the ticket office. We got there without any problems. There's only one road. You can't go wrong. Downstairs there is a cafe, toilets, drinking water. And of course, souvenirs. Climbing along a well-maintained trail. It's very steep in places. Steps embedded in the terrain are not always convenient. Choose the right shoes. Lifting is physically expensive. Calculate your strength. Go up for at least 30 minutes (this is a very optimistic timeframe). Most of the people reach the ancient ruins where the main lights are located. You can climb even higher, overcoming the stone fields, but it's not so interesting there anymore. That's why it's for an amateur. There are many burning gas torches in the main clearing. There are many visitors in this clearing. Everyone is having fun as much as they can. Traditionally, something is fried, something is photographed.))) Funny local cats. Quite happy with life. But everything is covered in soot from stroking the dirty hands of tourists. In the evening, visiting this place is especially emotional. Beauty is added. We were lucky. We caught the sunset on the mountain. You need to be extra careful on the descent. Especially at dusk. You need to think about lighting in advance. As well as about the right shoes.

I recommend visiting Chimera Mountain in spring or late autumn. There are very few people. It's not hot to climb. Many people wrote about garbage. So in March, when we were there, it was clean. It was a pleasure to take a walk. In some places, the ascent is complicated by high stone steps. Be prepared for this. Wear comfortable closed shoes. There will be a lot of stones. I didn't have enough strength to get to the top. The higher you get, the more difficult it becomes to climb the rocks. Maybe next time we'll make it up the hill. The lights bursting through the stones are an amazing sight. A miracle of nature. It was worth coming here for this. As a bonus, you can see the ruins of the temple of Hephaestus at the foot of the mountain.
