Interesting place. Has a lots of history but the guide is 10 euros and you need to leave your Id or passport which i decided to not do and you could download the pantheon app for 2 euros. So i advise you to have headphones on you

When my daughter and I were in Rome in 2019, a year before the pandemic, for some reason we did not visit the Pantheon!! We bypassed everything then... Except for the Pantheon!!! And then, when I read the novel "Angels and Demons" on purpose, immediately after returning from a trip, I was surprised to remember WHAT we had missed!!! Therefore, when I was going to Rome on this trip, the Pantheon was my number three must-see: after the Vatican and the Colosseum! However, it turned out to be a rainy day for the Pantheon (the only one during the entire week in Rome). But this did not spoil the impression of the ancient building at all. The entrance was paid (apparently, recently). You need to stand in line at the ticket office for a ticket if you can't buy it on the official website. Moreover, the cashier accepts only cash, no cards!!! Admission costs 5 euros. For some reason, the Pantheon was stuffed with all sorts of interactive gadgets: human-sized panels are installed, you can touch them and then either your own image appears, or images of people telling how they were amazed by visiting the Pantheon...Apparently, they charge 5 euros for this! :)) I walked around the ancient structure in a circle, stood by the grave of Raphael...Raindrops were falling through a round hole in the giant dome...I thought that now I need to come here in sunny weather and see the rays of the sun falling through the sky window...In general, Rome is beautiful in any weather!
