We decided to relax there and in advance, 45 days in advance, we took tickets for the Almaty-Dostyk train, compartment. Convenient opening and arrival time for both ends, the train is clean, the compartment is air-conditioned, of course, I want the trains to be modern and beautiful, but-what is there...We haven't traveled by train for a long time. Akshi station is small, clean, flowers and benches, umbrellas - all this is seasonal. We reached Ak Otau in 12 minutes, a place for the whole family to relax. I highly recommend it, because it is managed by a very good-natured and caring Alexander.I'll give you 10 points for the kitchen! The food is HOMEMADE!!! Cleanliness and - plants around the terrace where we have breakfast, lunch, dinner and relax - TV, cooling fountains, tea from the samovar at any time of the day. It is necessary to get here in advance, to book places in April. Small bungalows with excellent furniture, lake towels,free Wi-Fi,TV,air conditioning and attention. The chefs can take any order from you. We were fed very tasty- beshparmak, pilaf kuyrdak, shish kebab, various cereals for breakfast, pastries every day - pancakes, pancakes, pies, cookies.for lunch there are always salads, soups, main courses and such a variety! There were almost no repeats in these 10 days. The lake is 20 meters away! And what a magical lake at 4 a.m.!!!! Transparent, clean, calm, velvety!!! My grandchildren arrived a little later, the youngest laid small fish and several frogs himself! He was very busy and attracted other boys.I recommend parents to go on vacation if possible with their children's "toys" because everything is very expensive on the shore, we understand that these are seasonal earnings of local people, but prices "jump" ... A big minus to the region, district, locality- Akimat- there are no toilets anywhere, there are no garbage containers...this implies both the claims of vacationers and the negative ... But in general, Alakol is fascinating! Find time, money, company and mood- go to the miracle lake! !! Enjoy the Sun, Air and Waters of Alakol! I returned rested and with a desire to return there again, God willing.
