Quiet, nice hotel, with its own pros and cons. The rooms were cleaned every day (water, beds were made, garbage was removed). The bed linen was torn, but not critical. The shower stall was covered in fungus, there was a bad drain, and they were just standing in ankle-deep water. The air conditioner was working very poorly in room 214. Breakfasts: not varied, but we ate a lot (tea, bagged coffee, pineapple and watermelon fruits, two types of rice, two types of soups, scrambled eggs, sausages, ham and a couple more hot dishes, toasters, jam, Cakes were extremely rare and in small quantities). The pool is clean, very comfortable in depth for children. There were always enough sun beds. The cafe at the hotel is delicious, tom yam is delicious. It takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the sea, as well as a tuk tuk from the hotel, but we did not swim there. We went to the military beach by taxi, it's close to the hotel. The hotel is also close to Nong Nooch Park. We took a taxi to the center every day, 20-30 minutes. 100-150 baht each way. There are few nearby, but there is a cafe, we always went to the Salad Bar. All cafes nearby are open until 9-10 pm, please keep this in mind. In general, the hotel is not bad, it was not expensive for a family. But we won't choose it anymore)

Olive Tree Hotel is located next to two identical hotels - The Mangrove Hotel and The Carunda Hotel. The advantage of Olive Tree Hotel is that even rooms have a sea view, while other hotels do not have such a view. We lived on the 7th floor in room 710. Check-in took place at exactly 14:00, although we arrived earlier, we were asked to wait until 14:00. We left our things in the lobby and went to a nearby cafe for breakfast. At 14:00, we were given a room key, a memo with a login and password from wi-fi. Wi-fi worked perfectly, both in the room and on the territory of the hotel. We quietly watched various videos in the evenings, downloaded books, and used various messengers. The room is quite spacious for two people. The living room itself is approximately 16m2. The mattresses and pillows on the bed are new and comfortable. There is an air conditioner to the left of the bed. If you set it up correctly, it will not bring you any discomfort. The closet is roomy enough, but without shelves, there is a rod with hangers, there is a small safe in the closet, under which there is one small shelf. But it was enough for us, we take a few things with us. Plus, some of the things can be stored in a suitcase or backpack, which will fit perfectly in the closet under the barbell. There are also two small tables in the room. One is round in order to take food after it, the other is toilet-shaped. There is a fairly large mirror above the dressing table. The table itself is equipped with one small drawer. There are two sockets above the dressing table. Two more sockets on one side of the bed. Small bedside tables on both sides of the bed. There are 3 chairs in the room. There is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony. But it's inconvenient to eat after it, because it's very small. There is a bedside table in the room, we took it out to the balcony if necessary and used it as a table, so we often had dinner in the room. Only breakfast was included in our accommodation. I'll tell you about them later. You can smoke on the balcony. An ashtray is provided in the room. There is also a small refrigerator in the room. But you won't be able to put much in there, because the shelves are narrow. There is a large shelf above the refrigerator with a kettle, four cups and teaspoons. Tea, coffee, sugar are not provided. So it's better to take it with you. We did not find tea bags in the nearest shops, but coffee is sold only in tea bags. There is a TV above the niche. It broadcasts 4 Russian-speaking channels. The bathroom is spacious. The shower part is about the size of 2 shower cabins. Large sink and mirror. On the second day after arrival, the toilet bowl became clogged, although we did not throw the paper there. We went down to the lobby, and five minutes later a plumber came to the room, fixed the problem, and it never occurred again. Hot water around the clock. Shampoo and shower gel are renewed if they run out. They give out just one towel per person. White for the shower, colored for the beach. Bathrobes and slippers are missing. The hair dryer is working properly, its power is high. Room cleaning depends on the shift. Someone takes responsibility for their work, knocks and asks if cleaning is needed. And someone won't do the cleaning, even if you leave a sign on the door asking them to clean the room. When cleaning, bed linen and towels are changed, the bathroom and the floor are cleaned. If a "do not disturb" sign is placed on the door, then no one will really bother you. The water will be left at the door. 0.5 liters per person. Water is brought daily. Breakfast is served daily from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. The food is taken away at exactly 10 o'clock, so you have to come and put it on a plate before 10, then you can eat, no one says anything about it. But you can not take food with you, there is a fine for this, which is informed upon check-in. The menu does not change. The dishes are the same every day, but there are many of them, so you can create different combinations. The menu includes fresh vegetables (cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, sweet peppers), watermelon and pineapple, fried eggs, boiled sausages and ham, stewed vegetables, stewed meat (pork or chicken), meat broths, funchosa, rice, cereals, milk, bread, jam, butter. There is a toaster. You can roast the bread yourself there. The drinks include tea (in a teapot), Nescafé classic coffee bags, bags of dry cream and bags of sugar, which can be mixed to taste and poured with boiling water, respectively. There is also a draft juice with the taste and aroma of "multifruit", but this taste, in my opinion, is chemical. So for lovers of tea or coffee at breakfast, I recommend that you think about this issue in advance and bring your favorite drinks with you. And you definitely won't stay hungry, everyone will choose the dishes to their liking. We are absolutely delighted with the pool. It is divided into three zones. The adult pool is approximately 1.5 meters deep. On one side, at the end of this pool, there is an area with a powerful hydro massage. There are also two small slides on both sides of this pool. The second zone is small. It's just a hydro massage. You lie down in this small font and get pleasure. The third area is a children's pool with a depth of about 50 cm, which also has a hydromassage on one side. The pool is clean, the water is chlorinated, but not too much, the lights are turned on in the evening, the pool water is warm. There are different areas around the pool. Tables with chairs next to the kiosk, where they sell drinks and dishes from the menu that is in the room. We didn't buy anything there, so I don't know how delicious it is, but the prices are reasonable. There are also wooden sun beds with soft mattresses and large umbrellas around the pool, there are deck chairs with a canopy, and upholstered pear chairs. There are a couple of large tables next to the sun beds. Officially, the pool is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., but in fact at 10 p.m. they simply close the gate that leads to the pool and turn off the lights, and you can go through the hotel to the pool at any time. Beach. The hotel does not have its own beach. We went to the beach, which belongs to the Anana Hotel. We walked calmly through the hotel grounds and settled down on the sun beds. No one ever came up and said a word. This beach was cleaned daily, sun beds with large umbrellas that are attached to small tables. There is a cafe on the territory of this beach. The prices are quite high, but you can use the toilet and change clothes there if necessary. The area of this beach is not so clean anymore. The coastline is being cleaned anyway, of course, but not every day, judging by the amount of garbage. We didn't see any more sun beds in the nearest area. Perhaps this is due to the fact that we were vacationing during the low season (09/28/25-10/17/25), and not all hotels have opened yet. It takes about 15 minutes to walk slowly from the Olive Tree Hotel to the beach where we spent our time. There are three 7-Eleven shops along the way, where you can buy various drinks, chips, nuts, ice cream and even ready meals. But we personally didn't like the food from 7-Eleven, so we can grab something to eat at cafes, which are also enough on the way. We also had takeaway dinners in different cafes, depending on what we wanted to eat. There is everything from traditional Thai food to Russian cuisine. The sea was very warm and calm. The water in the sea is not clear, sometimes with an unpleasant smell of fish. But you can take a ferry to Koh Lan Island. It takes 20-30 minutes by ferry. The most convenient way to get to the pier from the hotel is by taxi. Taxi prices are low compared to Moscow ones. The water on the island is the purest, white sand. There was practically no rain, and if there was, it was short-lived. I want to note that the forecasts Yandex or Google should not be trusted, they give us every day promised showers, thunderstorms and cloudy weather. It's warm both day and night. The sun gives way to clouds, then vice versa. There has never been a sun all day during almost three weeks of our vacation. The temperature did not drop below +25 at night. And during the day, respectively, higher. We were very satisfied with our vacation, and we plan to visit Thailand again. There are a lot of interesting places worth visiting. Many thanks to the Olive Tree Hotel staff for their hospitality.

The hotel is wonderful. The staff is not intrusive and very friendly. The breakfasts are delicious. Even though they gave me the same thing, I didn't get tired of it. There were fruits, vegetables, and national and European food. The rooms are cool. I was lucky, the even side does not face the neighboring hotel, but the green area, in the morning you could watch squirrels jumping through the trees. The air conditioner was working, the refrigerator and the safe were also doing a great job. The Wi-Fi is good, the password will be given along with the breakfast card. I haven't used the pool, but the area around it is also very cool, everything is in colors, and after closing at night it will definitely be chlorinated. Cleaning is done every day, if you put up a sign, they will just leave the water at the door, as well as the bed linen and towels, and they clean well. When checking in, a nest with ants was discovered, out of Egyptian habit, I wanted to quarrel at the reception and ask to be relocated, but 2 employees with good food immediately came and evicted the little scoundrels. After that, they came to explore in small numbers, but they didn't bother. The main thing is not to eat fruits in the room or leave cleaning after them, I just took everything out to the trash on the street. There is a kettle, mugs, but you will have to buy tea yourself. There is a small round-the-clock 7/11 not far from the hotel. The only drawback of the hotel is the location, you will have to take a taxi to all the interesting places, because tuk tuks go very poorly during the day, and in the evening they can generally take a route that will be more profitable for them, and you will have to make more than one transfer. Given the low cost of a taxi, it will work out in the end, especially if there are several people traveling. But if you are not a fan of parties, and you want to live in a quiet area and enjoy the local flavor, you definitely should consider this hotel. It's not worth swimming in the sea in the city anyway, so in general it doesn't matter where to settle if you still need to go to the islands. As it is, it's not very far to the beach, but you definitely won't want to go into the water there.
