I liked the monastery complex, it's quiet here, everyone is talking in whispers. The territory is clean and well maintained. I want to look at the temple itself and look at it. The painted walls are simply mesmerizing in their beauty! The temple is cool, there are comfortable benches, you can sit and think about the eternal. Despite the fact that the complex itself is not so old, but if you consider how many pilgrims and tourists have visited here, then the place is sacred. An artist is sitting at the entrance, painting pictures on pieces of fiberboard, it's interesting to talk to him, I'm glad to talk to everyone on any topic, it's clear that the man is well-read. He sells paintings, any kind-3000rubles.

It's a beautiful place. It just smells old. At the entrance, they give clothes (headscarves and capes with ties).to cover your head, shoulders and legs below the knee, i.e. if you are without a hat, in a tank top and shorts, then you need to dress up in their clothes. The temple is active, large, and ancient. Access along the serpentine to the mountain, parking is a problem. Admission is free. The view around is beautiful

The majestic temple building is located in the middle of the Abkhazian nature. The interior is quite sparse, and what surprised me was the shabby walls and frescoes, although the building was built in the 19th century.
