It's just a peaceful place, it's quiet here, there's a sacred relic. There are a lot of icons and frescoes. There are roe deer, ostriches, and white peacocks in the enclosure.

Stunningly. Fascinating. Impressive. It's a very interesting place for both adults and children. I think the believers themselves know about the relics and icons. Non-believers can see the monastery as a museum, children will be interested in the animals. Scenic road, river, spring. I hear many people talking about it- a place of power. I recommend it to everyone.

The Lord ordered a small group of pilgrims from Sukhum to come to the church in a procession to the very beginning of the service in memory of St. Nicholas. The basilisk. It is a blessing to attend such a prayer service, (despite the fact that on this day the service was performed without an abbot). The service was truly from the heart. The choristers sang all the canons, troparia, and prayer books, and there was such joy that words cannot express it. The parishioners were not expected to be invited to tea, in fact, to a festive meal. This is my first festive feast in Abkhazia, on an Orthodox holiday. It is impossible to determine which left a greater impression, the companions, the meal or nature. The lenten table was very concise and festive. Nature - spring in the mountains, light rain (the weather should also be restrained). The cordiality of the people, I haven't seen this for a long time. Apparently, in such holy places, everything becomes close to understanding what eternal joy is. Heartfelt gratitude for strengthening my love for people. Loving one's neighbor has become more convenient and joyful. And more. There are at least three Shrines in this corner: the tomb of John Chrysostom; the grave of St. Basilisk, and the holy healing spring. How can you not love it. I bow to the ground to you, dear ones!
