Another landmark place for us that we really wanted to visit. Nothing unusual, but the fact itself is when you find yourself in the center of London, on the most famous square not only in England, but also in the world. Named after the victory in the Battle of Trafalgar. In the center of the square stands Nelson's column, in honor of Admiral Nelson, who won and died in the Battle of Trafalgar.

One of the iconic places in London is a huge square with fountains and Nelson's Column. I think you should definitely come here and "check the box". It's noisy here; there's a lot of car traffic, and a lot of tourists. Tourist shops (for example, souvenir shops) are interspersed with embassies and offices; the National Gallery adjoins the square. Therefore, there is noise, uproar, constant movement. As they walked through the square, striking farmers drove by on tractors, honking their horns. We made a circle and drove off towards Big Ben and, presumably, Downing Street. -)
