We got here by accident when we wanted to shorten the road from Istiklal Street to Galata Tower. Our attention was attracted by the beautiful two-story wooden entrance and we decided to find out what is hidden inside, and there is a real paradise for lovers of books and beautiful spaces. The main reason to come is the stairs. There are real books embedded in each of its steps, and it looks so unusual that at first you just stand and look at it, and then you go upstairs. There are more than 45,000 books in Turkish and English. There is also a cozy cafe where you can take a break with a latte and cheesecake, work or just sit by the window overlooking the lively Pera Street. Interesting fact: in 2025, Minoa Pera took the first place in the international ranking of the most beautiful book cafes in the world. And, honestly, this is the case when expectations completely coincide with reality. A very beautiful and stylish bookstore! You can also have breakfast and coffee here. Yes, the prices are high, but the books here are not from the standard bestsellers; there are many books on art and literature, and books that you will not find anywhere else. I recommend you to visit!

The place, of course, is atmospheric. It's real to find cool books (often for an overdraft). But while you are choosing these books, your face will fall on the background of some photo of a stranger. There is no price list on the books, you have to approach the people at the checkout five times and ask for the price, barely understanding the pun. There are two floors, there is a cafe in different parts of the building, the light is pleasant.
