July 2025 An ideal place for a relaxing holiday + nearby canteens and the sea within walking distance. The beach is clean, you can rent a sunbed. The guest house is excellent, the hosts are friendly. The room was provided to us in perfect condition: clean, snow-white bed and towels, underfloor heating, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator. It felt like I was at home. No one bothered us, if it was necessary to replace the towels / bed, we turned to the owners. I would like to clarify that there was no room cleaning, because this is a guest house, not a hotel. We did the cleaning/garbage removal ourselves (we couldn't afford it). I don't consider it a minus. If we go to Gagra again, then the choice of a guest house will be obvious) Thank you very much, I have only positive impressions.

We had a rest in Maximus in August. The rooms are clean, new, equipped with air conditioning, TV with various applications, hairdryer, etc. The hosts are very responsive, ready to help with any request. On the ground floor there is a small souvenir shop and a fridge with drinks for every taste. The daughters of the owners bake delicious buns, muffins and sinabons in the evenings. 5 min walk to the sea. There are many cafes nearby where you can have a delicious meal. Old Gagra and New Gagra are a 30-40-minute walk away, but you can take a taxi, prices are reasonable. We are very satisfied with the service and hospitality.

We had a family vacation in July 25. Excellent location, just 5 minutes to the sea. We took a room with a sofa, the four of us fit perfectly, the room has air conditioning, a refrigerator, a small table, 2 chairs, a kettle, a TV, a hairdryer. The room is clean, new, there is a water heater in the bathroom. It so happened that on the second day the water heater broke down, we were replaced on the same day, while we were at sea all day, in the evening they put a new one on and gave us the opportunity to take a shower on the ground floor, it was force majeure, and we apologized a hundred times. They are very customer-oriented, the hosts are friendly and welcoming. The room has good WiFi, we were given two towels for each person, a towel for feet, etc. paper, garbage bags were given to us on request)). It should be borne in mind that the room is not cleaned while you live there, but there is everything for this, if necessary. Take out the trash yourself. There are budget canteens within a minute's walk. Cafes/restaurants on the coastline in 5 minutes, in abundance and for every taste. We really enjoyed it.
