The second most epic temple in Luxor, connected to the great Karnak temple complex by the alley of sphinxes. It's a very picturesque place, especially at sunset. Magnificent works of art, the architecture is impressive. However, much has been destroyed, poorly restored or lost, and the same problems with dirt and lack of proper toilets are found almost everywhere. Horses are walking around, and poverty is noticeable. But outside there is an excellent exposition of finds, arranged in chronological order from the Ancient Kingdom to the New One. In general, it is worth a visit. The second most impressive temple in Luxor, connected to the large Karnak temple complex by the Avenue of Sphinxes. A very picturesque place, especially at sunset. Beautiful works of art, and the architecture is truly impressive. However, much has been destroyed, poorly restored, or completely lost, and there are the same issues with dirt and the lack of proper restrooms as almost everywhere. Horses walk around, and poverty is noticeable. On the positive side, there is an excellent outdoor display of finds arranged chronologically from the Old Kingdom to the New Kingdom. Overall, definitely worth a visit.

To touch the history. The temple complex is amazing, although there are a lot of people, restoration is taking place in places, as all the inscriptions on the walls were previously colored and are now restoring their original appearance. According to the guide, most of the complex is still under the sand. Of course, I recommend it to everyone who goes on vacation to Egypt.

Everything we saw in the movie The Mummy It's nothing compared to this historical legacy. I advise everyone to go. We had a guide who just transported us back to those days. Words cannot convey all this , delight All these sculptures of pharaohs, the sculpture of Queen Hatshepsut The temple is all painted with pharaohs, the ceiling is incomparable
