We just returned from vacation. We had a rest in March 2026. The hotel is old, without a good owner (flowers are not watered, partially broken furniture and plumbing, a half-broken toaster, torn linen, broken curtains). Overall, the hotel experience is not the worst! At least because we are not particularly picky and turned a blind eye to the broken and torn, as long as it was clean! Room cleaning is carried out every day, towels are changed every 3 days. Two disposable cups of water are left in the room daily. After reading previous reviews about the lack of dishes in the kitchen, they brought a pot with them, BUT ALAS! The electric stoves in all the rooms have BEEN TURNED OFF! Reheating only in the microwave. The elevator was working properly. The breakfasts are monotonous - eggs, noodles, salad greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, toast (only 2 work in a 4-compartment toaster), butter, jams, tea, coffee and juice from a tetropack. The only fruit is watermelon. This hotel is probably not quite suitable for children... Upon check-in, the deposit is $100. At the reception, communication is only through an online translator from Thai to Russian. We looked at the pool.... and never went there, because the water in the sea is much better. A very convenient exchanger at the entrance (through online transfer, you can even exchange rubles from different banks at a good rate!). There are many good cafes nearby. I was pleased with the good (by Thai standards) air conditioning in the room!!! There are two Russian channels on TV. Wi-Fi on each floor is different!. We lived on the third floor on the reverse side, great view (top of the roofs, view of the mountain with Big Buddha, absence of prying eyes from opposite windows). Probably the same good views from the room are not only on the third but also on the fifth, but on the second there will be a blank wall, and on the fourth there will be mold from the pool (judging by the reviews of other guests). To sum up, I give the hotel a solid three, noting the cleanliness, simplicity, good location relative to beaches, excursions and places to eat.

This is the worst hotel in Kata. We were in December. I didn't understand the meaning of the rave reviews. Unfortunately, this time we came across a hotel and we believed the positive reviews... Everything that you see beautiful in the photo will be completely different in reality. At least the reception, the photo is attached. It feels like the hotel has been either sold or abandoned for a long time. No money is invested here. You will be charged a deposit of $100 first for a hotel of questionable quality. Otherwise, you might want to break a loose faucet or add mold to the ceiling. Because of the mold on the entire ceiling (the last room near the elevator on the 4th floor under the pool), they wanted to move in. The guy at the reception, who was once mentioned, will broadcast "tumorrow at 8:30" to you, and then in the morning he will run around the hotel from you and blame everything on the girl who will solve the problem. The number was changed for us, as well as for my sister. On the second floor, they apparently decided to fill the room with chemicals and it was impossible to breathe there. There are no bulbs in the room lights, the faucet is not loose. All the fabric curtains are mildewed, and the blinds are jammed and broken. The TV turned off on its own. Cleaning is not every day). We had some insect repellents sprayed in some rooms. The rooms are noisy from either side. Breakfast items. Noodles, scrambled eggs, fried sausage, one fruit, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers. Toast bread with a toaster. One jam, salted butter. Instant coffee, juice like yupi and milk. That's about it. If you didn't get something, and it's real there, it's because they put it on top. The elevator does not load more than 3 people of 60 kg each) Swimming pool. I had high hopes for him... No one is watching him - I saw an employee once in the afternoon after 17 when he came to brush him) and no one is ever there. In the evening, nothing is lit (it gets dark at 5-6, and work is announced until 9) - look for the light yourself, if not, sit in the dark. Deck chairs - 3 out of 5 are whole by the pool, the other 3 are upstairs for sunbathing. Actively look for another hotel. I highly recommend it.

The rooms are good on the 5th floor, but there are only 3 rooms, a view of the city, and generally cozy and comfortable rooms. They say that the 4th floor is normal, but I haven't been there. At first, we moved into the 3rd floor with a view of the street, the rooms are tired, at night from the sound of bikes, etc. it is very uncomfortable to sleep. The location in Polna is good If you have a bike, but it is also tolerable on foot, Kata beach is 10-15 minutes away. In summary, I always ask myself the question, would I return to this hotel? if you live on the 5th floor, probably yes, otherwise no. By the way, nothing!
