My family and I vacationed in Cocoon Maldives for the second time (the first time in December 2023). Just like last time, upon arrival, the hotel staff at Male Airport located us as quickly as possible in the Cocoon Collection Lounge, where we comfortably waited for a seaplane flight to the island itself (Soft drinks, fruits, various all-inclusive snacks). Meeting on the island is traditionally accompanied by music and drums (it's a small thing, but it's nice). By the way, this is our 4th island of category 4-5* and you will not be warmly welcomed everywhere.… Special thanks to the hotel staff, from the very first minutes on the island you feel like dear guests. Banu, you are in our ❤️ Any issue was resolved instantly. When checking into the villa, it was especially nice to receive a compliment in the form of an inscription on the bed of flowers “Welcome home", a bottle of wine and a plate of fruit. We arrived on the eve of my anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised by the awareness of almost all the staff about my birthday. A Spa was booked for the morning, where the staff congratulated us very touchingly, decorating the room and singing the traditional “Happy Birthday". For dinner, we have booked a Japanese garden, where various dishes are prepared interactively in front of you, while involving you in the cooking process. Beyond praise! You can't think of a better holiday. Congratulations from the staff and a cake with candles🫶 In general, there are a lot of options on the island for individual romantic dinners, as well as the a'la carte restaurant "Manta" on the pier with a special atmosphere of night and ocean .. A special feature of the hotel is a dinner with a specific theme every day. Indian, Mediterranean, Italian, etc. The bars have excellent cocktails according to the all system, and what is especially important for me personally is Sparkling wine. Again, not every bottle includes champagne . As for the villas, we lived in a villa with a sunrise view, for me these are ideal villas. Entering the ocean is comfortable. Water villas are for the amateur, although compared to 2023, villas with water slides were added (but from personal observations, no one used slides there). Villas at sunset are beautiful, yes, palm trees are all around, but be prepared that in the evenings there are crowds of people taking pictures there (including us). For entertainment, there are a lot of all kinds of sea excursions, just for every taste. Water transport, kayaking, saps, diving. Will we return to Cocoon? Definitely yes!

We had a rest at the end of March-beginning of April. This is my first time in the Maldives, there is nothing to compare it with, but I really liked the hotel. We lived in two types of rooms, first in a suite, then a suite with a swimming pool. We discovered the water villas right away, and then we went to see them, we decided that this was definitely not our option. Beach forks are simpler and smaller, so suites are optimal for us. They meet you at the main airport, immediately put a tag with the villa number on the suitcase, then a short transfer to the airport with hydrants, where the hotel has its own lounge area with light drinks and snacks, a view of the landing / take-off of seaplanes is a delight. We flew with one intermediate stop for 40 minutes, but it's so beautiful!!! They meet you at the pier with drums, treat you to a prosecco at the reception and take you to the room on electric cars, telling you where and what. I really liked the shower and bathroom outside, it's just beautiful and very comfortable. All soft drinks, beer, white and red wine are included in the mini-bar, replenished every day. The food is delicious, grilled tuna every lunch and dinner, always deliciously cooked beef, very tasty desserts and pastries. The cuisine is basically European with the addition of local specifics, which is important for us- I don't like curry and everything is very spicy. There are theme nights, and for a fee they offer to sign up for lobster dinners. I won't say about strong alcohol, I don't understand because I don't drink, white wine is great, Spain, Germany, Chile. They have cocktails, they don't know how to make Margaritas, they have a kick ass. Animation in the evenings in the lobby bar is just enough so that it won't be boring. There, in the evenings before dinner, a guitarist played very well and a girl sang, on the opposite side there were DJ sets in the bar. Butler's WhatsApp support is unobtrusive and very comfortable, we had Adda, he doesn't speak Russian, but our level of English and his great desire to help was enough. There is a fitness room with a very beautiful view of the ocean, there are not many people in it at all. Masks and fins are provided, but masks are ordinary, with a separate tube, I don't like them, I regretted that I didn't bring my own for snorkeling. There is no reef, but we had enough of what we have, we saw fish, sharks and rays, and in the evening there were a lot of people near the Manta restaurant. If it's important for someone to go deep into the flour sand, swim on the beach where there's an inflatable slide. In general, the whole hotel is so photogenic, there are many locations that are delicious to the eyes. They clean twice a day, beach towels are brought to the room twice a day, the sand in front of the villa and on the beach is raked every morning. The concern to be comfortable is the greatest, I'll give you an example: we had an early departure, and so as not to disturb the vacationers, the plane arrived in the evening, and stood on a separate raft in the ocean a little away from the hotel, and in the morning we were taken to it by boat. The overall feeling of the hotel is not luxurious, but everything is so comfortable and thoughtful that you can fully feel the atmosphere of the ocean, the island, private relaxation, relaxation. Add a little more gloss and it will become a luxury, but the feeling of some kind of unity with nature will go away. We never rest in the same place twice, but we're thinking hard about doing it again.

We stayed at the hotel with our family during the autumn holidays. It was a great vacation, accompanied by the care of the staff, excellent cuisine, and entertainment every evening. I would like to mention Aybana, who was ready to help us at any time of the day. The cuisine is beyond praise, every day, a new theme of dishes Halloween was celebrated, it was fun and mysterious. Every evening, the island was treated from Mosquitoes and insects, there is no reef of its own, but there is a place where stingrays and turtles come, which we often observed and even swam nearby, oculi, tuna and many other beautiful fish swim right off the coast. The only thing I didn't like was the Ala Kart restaurant, but the main restaurant covers all the disadvantages.
