Slightly incorrect location, but the name The Ark Pilaf Center in Khiva is a real taste of Khorezm dishes, especially pilaf, the locals will say this place is "Kramika pilaf" because pilaf is served from real ceramic dishes, even if it is delivered with a dish, this is the most special place of the pilaf center. While walking around old Khiva, you will not find this place. It is located in the western region, that is, next to the old Dishan Kale. At a glance, it became clear: This is not just a tourist destination, but a place with a soul and a history. The courtyard is decorated in the traditional Khorezm style: ancient brick walls, carved wooden doors, clay jugs, handmade ceramics and a large wooden wheel that immediately takes you back to the past centuries. The atmosphere is calm, warm, and very lively, as if I were visiting old friends. The main thing here, of course, is Khorezm pilaf. I was served it on a large ceramic platter, as is customary. The rice was crumbly and fragrant, the locals would call it a "laser", the meat was soft and juicy, the garlic was whole heads, and the taste was rich but light. Without excess fat, everything is in moderation — a real, honest pilaf. It is customary to eat pilaf with your hands, washed down with hot green tea from patterned bowls. Nearby there is a fresh flatbread, pickled cucumbers and simple snacks that perfectly complement the dish. I realized one thing: to feel Khiva, you definitely need to come here. This place is not about show-off, but about tradition, taste and respect for heritage. I tried the real Khorezm pilaf here, at the Ark swim center in the city of Khiva.

We really liked the service and the concept, we sat down, there was no menu, they immediately brought salads to choose from, a flatbread, asked what kind of tea we would have, and after 7 minutes they brought a dish with pilaf, as if we were expected to visit! We came at lunchtime, around 14, mostly there were only locals. I didn't have to wait for anything. Very tasty, it turned out 130 thousand, we ate together, very tasty! We will advise you!!

A great place, I advise all tourists. Price is quality. It is advisable to order food in advance, it takes a long time to cook. The hospitality is top notch. They brought us tortillas, sour cream with herbs, tomatoes, tea, water and, most importantly, a large plate of pilaf for two, and we even ate everything:(
