Orange Bay is not a beach in the classical sense, but a separate sandy island, a beach where tourists are taken by boat as part of a day trip. This is a popular and promoted route "to paradise beach". What you liked (Pros): 1. Stunning color of water and sand: The hallmark of the place is turquoise, incredibly clear water and very light, soft sand. The photos are simply gorgeous, the colors are tropical. This is the main reason why people come here. 2. The sea and the entrance to the water: The sea near the shore is calm, shallow for a long distance. The entrance to the water is very shallow and sandy, without rocks or corals. Ideal for those who just want to splash around and for children of any age. 3. Recreation infrastructure: The island has everything you need: sun beds and umbrellas (most often included in the price of the tour or rented inexpensively), several cafes and a bar where you can buy drinks and simple snacks (burgers, shawarma). There are fresh showers and toilets. 4. The atmosphere of the "paradise island": If you ignore the number of people, the very view of the bay from a height, when you swim up, really creates the feeling of getting on a postcard. What is important to know (Significant nuances and disadvantages): 1. This is not a quiet, secluded island. This is a massive tourist hotspot. Especially from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the island is filled with boats and yachts. The sun beds are packed, there are a lot of people. If you're looking for privacy, this is not the place. 2. Cost and format: You can get here almost only as part of an excursion (group or private). It is difficult and expensive to get there on your own. The price of the tour varies, usually includes a transfer, a boat trip, a sunbed. Food and drinks are available for a fee. 3. Limited time. You usually spend 2-3 hours on the island, which is not enough for many. The rest of the time is spent on the road (about 3 hours round trip by boat + transfer from the hotel). 4. Complete absence of shadows. There is practically no natural shade on the island, only under umbrellas. Without a very high-protection sunscreen, you can burn out in half an hour. 5. Snorkeling and nature. Snorkeling is not interesting on the island itself — there is only sand near the shore. Excursions often combine a visit to Orange Bay with a stop at the coral reef along the way, where you can already swim with a mask and see the fish. It is important to clarify this when making a purchase. Summary and recommendations: Orange Bay is an ideal option for tourists from Hurghada who want to see a "picture" of turquoise water and white sand in one day, swim safely with children and take beautiful photos. Who should go: · Families with small children (due to the safe entry into the water). · For those who are visiting Egypt for the first time and want to see the "paradise" bay. · Lovers just lie on the sand and swim in the warm, calm water. · Those for whom beautiful photos for social networks are important. Who wouldn't like it: · Lovers of privacy and silence. · Experienced travelers who have already seen similar places. · Those who do not like long trips and organized excursions. · First of all, for divers and snorkeling fans (there is nothing to see off the coast of the island). Our verdict: The place is very beautiful, but you need to set up right. We went with the child — he was delighted with the sand and water, and we were delighted with the photos. However, this is an attraction, not a wild island. We recommend a one-time, colorful tour, especially if your hotel in Hurghada does not have a very good sandy beach.

The beach itself is not as perfect as advertised. I've been there 2 times, I won't go again. But it's worth visiting at least once. The view is certainly cool, the sea is warm (it was in December). Cleanliness is also not perfect.: It looks clean where you bathe, but there's dirt and debris a little to one side. Cool swing in the water. Pesky local merchants.

It's a great place. You can take great photos. The place is a national park. The sand is white. The sand is amazing, the color of the water is amazing. I recommend you to visit.
