These are the streets of Gomel and the beautiful decorations of the pedestrian bridge with urban sculptures. The only thing I don't really like is the backlight, which is on every day. This prevents relaxing evening walks before going to bed. I would like the city's illuminations to be lit only on weekends and holidays. The nervous system needs rest before a new day of work. After the Great Patriotic War, it was possible to cross the Sozh River only by pontoon bridges. Later, a beach with a Lapot boat appeared on the left bank of the Sozh River to transport vacationers. In 1969, a pedestrian bridge was finally built, which allows you to cross the Sozh River to the left bank - to the beach in summer, and to ski in winter. And in 2025, the bridge was completely renovated for the first time in 56 years of operation! Hurray!
