Bansko is a great place for skiers and snowboarders in winter and for hikers in summer. We visited in October 2025, especially during the off-season, when you can view the landscapes, architecture and have a quiet coffee. We must pay tribute to the Bulgarians that they make good coffee. We visited thermal baths and a spa hotel in Bansko. The impression is excellent, as it is made for people, smart and beautiful.

I really, really liked it in Bansko in the summer in the middle of July. The view of the mountains is simply unforgettable, the Gondola lift costs 40 lev for an adult / 25 lev for a child, it's expensive, but the impressions are extraordinary, we did not regret the money spent, we climbed high into the mountains, and saw the tops of tall fir trees, and the city at a glance. The climate is also interesting, at night and in the early morning the temperature is 11 degrees, in the afternoon it rises to 30 degrees. The town itself is not big, almost all have their own small vegetable gardens, livestock. In the morning, the roosters sing, the sun rises and you look at the beautiful mountains.
