In April, I donated the headlights from Accord 10 for restoration. One headlight was fully functional, the second had a broken case, fasteners and glass, the LED optics were working. What have you done: • The windows on both headlights have been replaced. • The fasteners and the body of the damaged one have been restored. • They put an armored film on both headlights. Everything is done at the highest level — neatly, quickly, with attention to detail. The masters warned about possible fogging after washing, which should pass by itself — and it did. The native glasses could no longer be polished, and the guys quickly found the glasses with the mask assembled, but in order not to drive without light (while waiting for new glasses), they polished the old glasses as best they could and installed the modules. Very good, I'll tell you.Considering that I brought my own lubricant and helped lubricate every screw that was unscrewed.I am satisfied.However, after the new glass with an armored film, the light became dimmer and the headlights, without adjustment, began to shine below the previous level.Well, anyway, I'll set it up myself somehow. the original ICE headlight went out in the passat B8. I called the guys: they advised me how to look for the true reason from the many possible ones, they checked the prices. as a result, I decided to find the reason myself. I removed the headlights, swapped the modules, and there were 2 of them for each, swapped the headlights - nothing worked. I called again, arrived, left the car (it was impossible to diagnose without it) and the removed headlight. there was a one-in-a-million defect - the LEDs themselves burned out, but it was possible to find out only after disassembling the headlights (the prices turned out to be the cheapest in Minsk). I was looking for a used one, even broken, not in Minsk, even broken ones were on sale behind the cordon (this is logical because the prices for whole ones bite), and not all the whole ones fit. I turned to the guys and they found the remains of 2 broken pairs through their channels, took the diodes themselves from them and everything worked. they gave away the removed headlight. I paid only for the repair of the headlight itself. it would seem HURRAH, but after 3 weeks it went out again. I am sure that the reason was not in the repair. the guys took it off themselves, and this requires dismantling the bumper necessarily, they disassembled it again - the defect is the same. they replaced the LEDs from my leftovers, glued them together, put the car back together. I paid only for the soldering of the diodes. I have been driving for 2 months, while approx. (ugh, ugh). by the way, in both cases, after the transfer of the car for repair, they always drove to the nearest transport.
