The local Arbat, and in real life Korolev Avenue, is rightfully considered the most beautiful and well-groomed street in Baikonur (Leninsk). Locals call it Arbat by analogy with the central streets of other Russian cities, and this name suits her perfectly. The street is very clean and well maintained. The city has an automatic irrigation system, thanks to which Baikonur turns into a green oasis among the steppes in summer. There are many trees on the Arbat, mostly elm trees, which creates shade, coolness and a sense of well-grooming. Walking along the Arbat, you constantly encounter reminders of the space history of Baikonur: thematic elements, symbols, rockets and names that give the street a special mood. There are few cafes on the street, but at the beginning of Arbat there is a small coffee shop with really delicious coffee, and nearby there is a cozy place called Palermo Cafe, where you can eat and taste local dishes before a walk. In the evening, Arbat is especially pleasant: the soft lighting makes it calm and cozy. Sometimes there are kind, well-groomed, chipped dogs that are monitored by city services. They are safe and evoke only warm emotions. This is a place where you should definitely go, and this is the street that you definitely won't pass by. Central, neat, green and beloved by the residents, Arbat truly adorns Baikonur and makes those who live here proud.
