It's a disgusting border checkpoint. Boorish attitude, mocking taunts from the Estonian border guards. 12.03.2025 we arrived at 22.00 in a live queue, we left on 13.03.2025 at 23.00. ARTIFICIAL QUEUE BRAKING!! They call the car every 2-4 hours! Priority is given to trucks, and from 20.00 buses! Koidula is the same!

We waited 3 days, taking into account that we had booked in advance. The queue is artificially delayed, apparently, so that you don't want to go anymore, bravo👏

The border of Luhamaa-shumilkino (Estonia-Russia). The border checkpoint on the Estonian side must be registered earlier, the cost is 9€. We passed this checkpoint on 08/17.24 at 22:00 and at 05:00 on 08/18.24 we were in Russia. We were delayed at the checkpoint in the Russian Federation due to a temporary car load, thanks to the shift supervisor for coming into our situation and helping to arrange the importation of the car and did not have to leave a deposit and did not return it back, all the staff is very responsive, friendly. So I recommend using this customs border checkpoint and not standing on the Terekhovo-Burachki border for 4-5 days in line, and then look at that rudeness, indifference and mockery of people..

We crossed on the way to Russia. On the Estonian side, we paid 3.5 euros for an electronic queue that did not exist: we were alone at the border. Nevertheless, we were directed to the septic tank and told to wait for our note on the scoreboard. We waited for about twenty minutes and I went to find out what the reason was for waiting at an empty border. To my question, why should we wait for our number on the scoreboard if there is no one, the girl sighed and just opened the barrier and let us through for inspection. In five minutes, we went through all the exit formalities and moved to the Russian side. Everything was fast there too. In general, everything is fine, the only thing that looks simpler and more shabby than on Koidula-Kunichina Mountain.

The point is located on the Russian-Estonian border. It looks modern. In my opinion, the logistics of the pass is better thought out than on the Russian side. So, on the Russian side, it is necessary to go through four windows, and here - one. And although this is due to the peculiarities of legislation and the separation of functions of the Russian customs and border service, it is more convenient for the Estonian side. When entering from Estonia, you must first enter the sludge site, paying 4.50 euros for a passenger car. The site is equipped with an electronic scoreboard, which shows information about the car that is in line and can be followed directly to the checkpoint. There is a cafe, a toilet, a washbasin. The prices, in my opinion, are too high. The record for waiting was 11 hours two years ago; the shortest time for passing was 10 minutes. It is possible to pre-order the time of passage across the border, but there is still a fare. The staff of the point are mostly friendly, for all the time I came across only one female employee who made a negative impression.

We passed the border from Estonia to Russia. We specially chose the time from 4 to 5 at night, so as not to wait in line for a long time. The actual wait is 10 minutes. The number appeared on the scoreboard and we drove off. Another 30 minutes and we passed the Estonian part. The only thing is that there is practically no access road to this point, it is being redone and there are bumps and pits. They'll probably do it quickly..

Good day everyone! I was traveling on the route St. Petersburg-Kaliningrad.a normal road along the entire route. It's perfect from Pskov to the border. It is possible to issue a credit card and refuel before entering Estonia. The time to cross the border with 20 cars in the queue is about 1.5 hours. The availability of honey is important.insurance.The Estonians forced me to turn around and run on foot to the Russian side behind her. The road from the border to Riga is 3-4 km, deserted, the police are tending to you. Good luck

We ordinary people have become victims for some unknown reason that the Russian Federation is not allowed, we have been standing still for almost 1.5 days ((( The border guards and the staff of the Luhamma checkpoint entered the position of ordinary people and not only allowed them to visit the restroom, but organized free tea and coffee and sweets, for which they are very grateful that they treat ordinary people humanely!)

A pass for one or two cars. I had electronic insurance, the Estonians didn't like it very much, you see, the exchange is paper. What's the difference, both work the same way. And on the way back, our border guards are a separate story... For example, my girlfriend was asked for my birthday! Psychologists are the same for me...

Estonians artificially drastically reduced the transit capacity. Record for a month in advance. You can stand for a week without recording. But even recording does not guarantee an easy and fast passage of the border. They can leave unnecessary comments to anyone, sometimes in a boorish form.

Estonians skip quickly. Waiting area+1 security check It took 10 minutes. Russian border guards make 300 unnecessary movements and unnecessary inspections. It took 50 minutes, and I was lucky to have few cars. 1) The queue for a ticket for the number of passengers, as if a bunch of illegal immigrants would jump into my car 10 meters from the Estonian post to the Russian one, where there is a fence and cameras all around. 2) Again, there is a queue of 10 cars for inspection, and one post out of four is working, because we have thirty cash desks at the border, like in a hypermarket, but only one is working. Then, after standing in line, you will find out that this is a lane only for cars of the European Union. We need to move and stand again. There is no information on the lanes. In the end, the border guard's question enraged: Did you not know that this is a lane for foreign cars? Counter question: Have you put at least one pointer or a divider along the lanes of who is where. The answer is more than informative: I had to go where everyone was going. And I was driving like everyone else. From Estonia to Russia. All of them had Estonian numbers. And only one St. Petersburg. The Estonian point is clear, everything is readable and glowing. 1 lane buses. 2 lanes for foreign passenger cars. 3 lanes for foreign cars and EU cars . 4 for passenger cars where export from the country is declared. 5 and 6 for trucks. It's infuriating that everything is still being done not for the comfort of people, but on the contrary. Bureaucracy, local self-government and carelessness.

I spent 6.5 hours at the border. I didn't know that I had to pay tribute on the road. First, I got in line at the customs itself. I stood for 1.5 hours. I'm going through the security check. And at the very end they ask me with an accent...Would you like your license?? I don't understand what is being asked))) It turned out that we had to stop at this parking lot first. That there's a sign just to the right. I didn't notice him. There is no markup. It's elementary to slip through. I was not the only one)))To the right, you need to pay 4.5 euros to get a room. Then drive to the septic tank and wait for the call. The call is already in the live queue in which I have already defended. The tableau with the number where the dim ones are called. Small. Only 2. According to one number, your car number is written in a running line. You can skip it. As a result, I stood in this ghetto for more than 4 hours. Then there's another queue at customs. I drove here for the first and last time. I did not expect this from a European country. It is better to go through Latvia.

My husband has been standing in the parking lot at the border for the fourth day, in a queue, unable to get home. In the heat, without food and water, because everything is in euros, and there is nowhere to change rubles. Mockery, may they all be rewarded

I've booked a queue for myself. I arrived on time, but I was called only half an hour later. And anyway, there is still a live queue for 40 minutes in front of the border. It feels like those who arrived without reservation pay for the waiting area in the booth and go straight to the border without a call. I've seen several of them myself. That's why there's another queue.

Very clean and polite. There are vending machines with coffee and sandwiches in the waiting area. Everything is cheaper than in such machines here. The access road is under repair, from the Estonian side. There are almost no people.

It is difficult to understand which side is being asked to evaluate here. Our people work slowly, they climb into every hole, they are not always polite. Two cars at a time are not serviced at the passport office, do not leave the cabin ahead of time... If they worked like that on the Finnish border, it would stand forever. Estonians are usually faster and more polite - there is no separation between border guards and customs. One person examined you and questioned you and handed over your passports to the booth with his own hands after that. But occasionally there are incidents that slow down the work. We were traveling in May. Not only did they have no road from Estonia at all - they do not know how to shift asphalt along one lane, they removed everything and had to knead mud for many kilometers. So, even at the entrance from Estonia, there was no information or constructive road markings reminding that entry to the border is mandatory through a paid waiting area. As a result, our "Finnish" habit was to roll straight to the point without an invitation. Everything was rolling until one such "simple" from St. Petersburg tried, again, according to the "Finnish" habit, to drive a train through the traffic light for inspection / control, not realizing by the speed of the signal change to red that one was invited here. A bearded "partisan" from the border police "rinsed" him in perfect Russian for 5 minutes, and since he also "bullied" on the topic "and everyone is driving like that, I don't know about any waiting area," they deployed him from control to this zone, even considering that it was empty. And since the "partisan" was working almost alone at that moment, almost the rest of the queue got up. It is not clear what is difficult to wrap the driveway for waiting and hang a poster a couple of meters across on the road.

If the queue has not been booked in advance, then this can be done right at the time of payment and entrance to the parking area (it is more profitable when cars are crowded). The cafe is open until 20.00 :(

I travel often. Of course, it happens strictly - but always to the point. But the position is always the same - to warn, not to punish, if suddenly there is some kind of "jamb". Which is very encouraging. Those who do not know something and at the same time there is no "intent" - then you will pass the border normally. And nothing will look for "lice". Polite and businesslike police (border guards and border guards).

On January 6th, everything went perfectly. Despite the end of the holidays and the number of cars, everything took about 25 minutes.
