The Champ de Mars is an outstanding example of landscape architecture and urban planning, whose value goes far beyond the function of a public park. Historically, this site served as a military training ground for École Militaire students, which determined its strict geometry and open perspective. The symbolic significance of this space was finally consolidated at the end of the 19th century with the construction of the Eiffel Tower, which became the dominant feature of the entire composition. From the point of view of urbanism, the Champ de Mars is a unique link between the historical axis of Paris, passing through the Champs-Elysees and the Trocadero, and the left bank of the Seine. Today it is an extensive recreational cluster offering visitors multifunctional use of the territory: from organizing picnics on lawns to visiting educational playgrounds for children. The quality of park management deserves high praise, as evidenced by the impeccable condition of the green spaces and the cleanliness of the footpaths. Panoramic views of the main symbol of Paris make this location an unsurpassed place for photographing at any time of the day. In the evening, the territory turns into a center of attraction thanks to the professional illumination of the tower and numerous street performers. For the convenience of visitors, there are many fast food outlets with different price ranges located around the perimeter of the field. The accessibility of the location, provided by the proximity of the École Militaire, Bir-Hakeim and RER metro stations, makes it an integral part of the city's tourist infrastructure. Thus, the Champ de Mars is not just a park, but a key element of the cultural code of the French capital, ensuring a harmonious combination of historical heritage and modern needs of citizens and guests of the metropolis.

If you are driving, you can park your car in a covered parking lot nearby. Very beautiful. From the height of the Eiffel Tower, the city is clearly visible. I advise you to visit.

The Champ de Mars was simply created to admire the Eiffel Tower. It's so cool to just sit and stare at it, slow down, wait for the evening when the lights on the tower turn on.
