We had lunch in this cozy cafe 2 times while hiking in Batumi. I recommend you to visit. The cafe looks very mediocre from the outside, but inside it is very cozy and with a pleasant exterior and comfortable chairs. I could be wrong, but it's like a family cafe. The prices are quite affordable, and the portions are very large. The hot (shish kebab) was cooked for about 25 minutes (I think this is normal), the atmosphere is calm, the hosts are very welcoming. If we are still in Batumi, I will definitely visit them for lunch again.

Nice place, cozy. BUT I was not pleased with the food, and the attitude of the staff was even more so. The chicken in the Megrelian kharcho turned out to be raw and bloody. I called the waiter to inform him that the dish was not ready. He called the manager, and she told me that I had to pay for this soup, because I had already started eating it and I should have immediately noticed the raw meat (there were 3 drumsticks in the soup, two small and the largest was with blood, which I started butchering last). That is, no apologies, dish replacements, compensation, etc., but indignation that I did not immediately see raw meat and started eating soup with broth instead of meat. The soup with dumplings also turned out to be strange, a greenish broth where half of the dumplings are spicy and the other half are not. To call the waiter, you had to get up every time and go look for him.

There's an inconspicuous cafe outside, I don't even know the name in Russian. The interior is clean and beautiful, the staff speaks Russian. Huge portions, low prices. Awesome shish kebab and khinkali (although with coriander, I don't like those). This is the "cafe for locals" that everyone has been looking for for a long time. It's a pity to walk far from the old town, through the wilds / markets / construction site.
