Everything is good. The place, the room, the cleanliness, the ambiance. EXCEPT one thing. I booked only for 1 night. But the receptionist felt me very uncomfortable, the way she scrutinised my documents, e.g Passport, visa, green card, and registration. I’ve been in Russia countless times, booked or stayed in different hotels even in 4-5 star hotels, but receptionist or management never did that, they just simply scan the first page of my passport and visa. But in this hotel. She flipped or turn every pages of my passport and asking me another Russian documents. It took so long before she gave me the key to check in. Really when someone scrutinised your documents you feel so uncomfortable even you know you have all the legal documents. I don’t know if this kind of scrutinise is a new protocol here in Russia or what? When I was on the lobby I feel that I’m in front of Russian immigration officer. Because while she is looking in my documents she called 2 different people asking about my documents 🤣🤣🙄 but Anaway I had a good sleep in this hotel.

The room is spacious, clean and the service is beyond my expectations. I cannot understand local language, but the management/receptionist is so helpful when the taxi drop me in the wrong location. I will definitely choose to stay again in this hotel, whenever I got a chance to visit Sochi. The price of the room is reasonable also. 🙂
