June 27
We had a rest in the middle of June 2026. I will try to write the most honest review possible, because I always carefully read the reviews of other tourists before traveling. ** Who is this hotel for** In my opinion, the hotel is now more suitable for couples and older people, as most of these guests were here. But at the same time, it felt like the hotel was preparing for a more active season: there is a nightclub nearby, and the animation is quite intense, so young people may like it here too. **Check-in** We were settled almost immediately after arrival, which is a big plus. But the first room turned out to be in very poor condition: the closet was falling apart, everything was old and unkempt, and it looked as if it hadn't been renovated for a very long time. The only advantage was the large terrace, but it did not save the overall impression. After contacting the guide, our room was changed without any additional charges. It turned out to be smaller, but much neater and more comfortable. The reception staff is polite, but there may be difficulties with the Russian language. English turned out to be the most reliable option for communication. **Number** The room itself is also not new — the furniture is already noticeably tired, but it is quite possible to live. The bed is comfortable, but the pillows are very thin and uncomfortable. The cleanliness is average: nothing critical, but there was no feeling of perfect cleaning. There is a small refrigerator and a TV with a couple of channels. The refrigerator is quite noisy, you can hear it clearly at night. **Wi-Fi** Wi-Fi is free. Catches in the lobby, by the pool and a little on the sun beds in front of the beach. There was no internet at all in our room (it was one of the furthest). Perhaps the rooms closer to the reception are better served. It is enough for correspondence, social networks and YouTube. The video can be watched, but the quality is low, sometimes there are freezes. The Internet is too weak for heavy tasks. **Territory** The territory is average in size. There are palm trees, greenery, lots of sun beds. But I can't say that it's pleasant to walk here — rather, it's a place for relaxing by the pool or the beach. If you want to walk, it is better to walk along the sea or go to the city. The cleanliness of the territory could also be better — small debris was periodically found. **The beach** The sea itself is simply magnificent. It's very beautiful, transparent, and warm. The approach is smooth, the sand is light and pleasant. But it was the beach that became the most ambiguous moment for me. During our vacation, it was practically not cleaned. There were algae and human debris. Moreover, garbage was regularly brought by the sea: plastic bottles, packages, and so on. Several times I picked it up myself and took it to the trash because it was unpleasant to look at. Already before our departure, the beach began to be actively put in order, so perhaps the situation will get better later. There were plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for everyone. There is a bar on the beach. Special thanks to the bartender — after a few days he already remembered my order and started preparing it even before I came to the counter. Such little things are very memorable. There is a shower and a toilet. They are quite old, the doors sometimes jammed, there was always a puddle in one toilet, but you can use it. **Power supply** The biggest complaint is the cleanliness of the dishes. I had to wipe the plates, glasses, and appliances with a wet cloth before almost every meal. If you're very squeamish, it might be worth taking a mug or glass with you — some tourists did just that. As for the food itself, everything is much better here. The choice is quite good. There were fish, squid, shrimp, meat, vegetables, salads. During the local holiday, the choice became even bigger. The breakfasts seemed rather weak, but I liked the lunches and dinners much more. The local carbonated drinks tasted strange, but the juices were quite normal. **Bars** There were almost no queues, except for the evening bar. The cocktails are very sweet. I don't drink alcohol myself, but many vacationers said it was pretty weak. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming. **Staff** The staff left a very good impression. Almost everyone greeted each other, smiled, and had a few words to say. There was a feeling of friendly atmosphere. I would also like to mention the animation team, especially Blake. He was a very positive person, constantly invited people to participate in activities, and made sure that no one was bored. The only negative is punctuality. Sometimes the event was announced for a certain time, but the animators themselves were delayed for 10-15 minutes. This has happened more than once. **Animation** During the day, there is a good choice of activities: yoga on the beach, water aerobics, dancing, water polo and much more. In the evening, the children's program takes place first, then the adult program begins. To be honest, adult shows are pretty similar to each other. The names are different, but in fact they are almost the same contests with minor changes. One of the things I particularly liked was the karaoke evening and the fire show. **Location** We drove from Monastir airport for about an hour. Mahdia is conveniently accessible by local skytrain. The fare costs only 2 dinars per person, there is air conditioning inside, and it is very convenient to use. There are shops near the hotel, but the assortment is almost the same everywhere. You can also always catch a taxi near the hotel. There is a post office nearby. If you like to send postcards from your travels, it will cost about 1.5 dinars. **The result** The main advantages of this hotel are the beautiful sea, good staff, active animation and decent food. The main disadvantages are dirty dishes, the condition of some rooms, garbage on the beach and the general feeling that the territory and infrastructure could be monitored much better. If you go with the understanding that this is more of a solid three than a full-fledged four, the rest can be very pleasant. But if you are used to modern rooms, perfect cleanliness and a high level of service, it is worth considering other options.

Hotel. The hall is large, clean and tidy. We checked in at night without any problems, maybe it's the end of the season, there were no problems with the rooms. It was in the second half of October. Number. Old but sturdy furniture. Everything is as simple as possible. The bathroom is just as simple, the seams on the tiles in the area of the bathroom and sink can scare, but they are just very old. The tiles are stylized to match their arnament. Nothing was leaking, everything was working fine. I know that the other guests had a leaky toilet, then a hygienic shower. I know someone saw Stasikov in the bathroom. It's unpleasant...From soap accessories-well.soap and gel/shampoo. large tubes. But they are very good. The fragrance is a bomb. I brought my own, but I didn't use it. There is nothing else besides that. Tual paper is always available. Towels were changed. There is a hair dryer. There's a fridge that looks old too, I didn't turn it on. Room cleaning daily or optional. Food-meat, chicken, beef, turkey, fish. Vegetables. Delicious pastries and some desserts. I won't say it's very diverse, but I've always been well-fed. We must remember that this is 3*. Alcohol-I drank wine, which is good for me, semi-dry. Red, rose, white. I didn't drink strong alcohol, but as usual it was diluted everywhere. Although they opened a bottle of whiskey in front of me and poured it out. It's not the same fortress anyway. But it's good, otherwise I'm afraid everything would be all around. The territory- I liked it. It's big, the beach is great, the sea is brilliant. Sun beds, umbrellas, everything is there. Who's going for what. I was going to the beach and the sea. Someone arrived and was outraged by the diluted alcohol. I don 't recommend massage. Maybe the massage itself is normal, but the conditions are just old and do not allow you to relax. Animation is probably better in season than in October. A mediocre program. I don't rate it as anything. There is a pool, but I was going to the sea, so I passed by. I always evaluate the place if I want to return. I would have come back.
