I really like to relax in this place. Yes, there are a lot of visitors in summer, both among tourists and locals. But for me it's worth it. Clean water with small fish, ruins of an ancient city, the sun, pine needles. The only thing is that the bottom is with sharp rocks in places, it's better to have slippers for swimming.

Phaselis is definitely worth a visit. Even if you're not a fan of ruins, it's still worth coming here. The nature is very beautiful here. In addition, you can come here for a whole day for a beach holiday. Not far from the ruins there are bays where yachts with tourists (including those from Kemer) sail. They stop for a swim in Phaselis. And the locals come here in cars with folding tables and chairs and spend the whole day. And if you like active recreation, then you will have the opportunity to walk along the Lycian trail along the coast. Sometimes the trail rises to a decent height and you find yourself on observation decks with stunning views. Beautiful music can be heard from the yachts somewhere, and the indescribable smell of pine trees is in the air. The atmosphere is incredible! Entrance to the Phaselis costs 10 euros. We took a minibus from Kemer for the whole day .they take you straight to the cash register, if there is no huge traffic jam.It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the ticket office to Phaselis (we were in August, in the hottest weather. it's better to cover up so as not to get burned) Beauty😍 A beautifully preserved Roman ancient city (ruins). There is an amphitheater, baths, a marina, and the paving stones of the central street. There's no cafe on site, it's better to take a snack with you. The beach is shallow and has black sand, and there are a lot of locals with tents and umbrellas.

For the place itself, 5🌟. I can't bet more than 4🌟 for the attitude and preservation of historical value. It's hard to believe that this ancient city was built in the 7th century BC. Fragments of the walls of the acropolis, the central street, the ancient theater, and part of the mosaics decorating the floors of rich houses and temples have "survived" to this day. I got there on my own from Kemer. It's a long walk from the bus stop. It's hard in the heat. I went around everything quickly in 2 hours, I was limited in time. Amazing! I love ancient cities. Many people mistakenly write about Ancient Greece, but these are the remnants of the Lycian state. Gorgeous viaduct, harbors, central alley, agora, baths, theater, tombstones. There is an assumption that Alexander the Great is under one of the slabs. The story is real. Locals are allowed to have picnics. It looks a little strange. Entrance tickets are too expensive (and only in lira) if you travel with your family. But there is a Lycian trail through the mountains (I didn't dare).

A beautiful place to walk and relax. A piece of the aqueduct, the amphitheater, the buildings of the Roman baths, and the street pavement have been preserved. Even the remnants of the architecture are impressive. It is pleasant to swim in the right bay (if you face the sea). We visited Phaselis in May 2024. Many people write how to get there by transport, I will write how to get there on foot if you live in a hotel in Tekirova and like to walk. Go towards Rixos, go around it from the side of the water park, then into the forest along the path / road, go out into the field and along the edge of the hill go to the farm near it to the right and towards the sea until you see the sign of the Lycian trail, then follow it through a wild beach, a hill (40 meters rise), and another the beach. The journey takes an hour and a half at a relaxed pace. It is better to wear off-road shoes for safety on the hills. The ancient city itself is quite interesting, you can touch it, walk around the buildings. The entrance was free from the beach, but now a hundred things have changed. the way there and back is about 12km.

It takes 15-20 minutes to drive from the village of Tekirova to Phaselis, no more, we arrived very quickly. To be honest, we didn't really prepare for this tour and didn't read much, there was no guide with us, so we decided to just take a walk, and the places are very pleasant. After walking the entire main street and looking at the ruins, having explored the ancient theater a little, we came to a very beautiful bay with an excellent beach. We didn't see it ourselves, but the locals constantly warned about the presence of snakes. Be careful! There were many cars and motorcycles parked near the ruins of aqueduct. There are mini cafes with ice cream and water on the site. We decided to turn right from the arches first. After walking a little through the forest along the path, we came to a small bay with black sandy sand (volcanic rock). There is a beautiful view of Takhtaly Mountain. Gorgeous mountains, magnificent view of the combination of sea and mountains at the same time. Unfortunately, the place was unclean, there was garbage. If we assume that this is a beach, then it is a very dirty beach. Although the water was clear, there was sand on the bottom instead of the usual pebbles for Kemer, which is pleasing. Some construction work was going on nearby. The water here was much warmer than in the open sea. Even the children were swimming. There was a toilet and a shower nearby. Everything is unkempt, but toilet paper is available. Summary - it's worth visiting Phaselis, but it's better with a guide or having studied the topic in detail on your own.

There are also spoonfuls of tar. 1. The entrance ticket is quite expensive. If the family is large, then a visit can hit the budget. At the same time, it will take a couple of hours at most to explore the ruins, the theater and the old town. We met compatriots who quickly inspected everything in half an hour and were very unhappy with the cost. In my opinion, you need to take your time and enjoy what you see, but nevertheless, the cost/impression ratio clearly outweighs the cost. 2. Traffic jams from cars at the entrance and exit. Turks also really like to relax here (for them the cost is 5 times cheaper). Therefore, the beach will be crowded. 3. If you get there on your own by bus, then get ready to walk from the ticket office to the city along the side of the road and in the sun for about a kilometer. There and then back. If you go by car, it's better during business hours, there will be fewer people. 4. The entrance fee is in euros, but you have to pay in lira. Therefore, you need to find out the actual cost of entry in lira according to the exchange rate, and prepare this amount in advance. There is no way to change the currency on the spot, there is nowhere. 5. There are no toilets on the beach itself (maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't find it), no shops, and I can't even buy water. We need to take everything with us. I advise you to familiarize yourself with the history of the city a little before traveling, then it will be more interesting, because otherwise there will be almost no information on the spot.

(although the price is 5 times lower on the official website) It's not very convenient by bus, it's a long way from the highway to the beginning of the city. There is a taxi, you can get to Kemer for $ 20 if you bargain, which we did. The taxi driver drove us past the border post, where we paid for the entrance, right to the entrance of Phaselis. Some people write that you can get through somewhere, but I don't know, we didn't look and we don't know.

I really liked it! We took a family trip on our own from Kemer by minibus #8. The start is from the mosque, and there are 315 liras for passage to the circle. I don't know why, but they took less back. The entrance to the museum is 10 euros per person, the payment is only in lira or by card (this is important)! The ruins themselves... Phaselis is an amazing place where history harmoniously combines with natural beauty. It is a small ancient open-air museum city located in a picturesque bay of the Mediterranean Sea. It is very easy to get to it even without excursions – we took a minibus from Tekirova. We were at the end of May 2024, the water in the bay is already very warm, so be sure to take swimsuits. We recommend that you come on a weekday, as it can be crowded on weekends, especially due to the influx of locals. There are traffic jams at the entrance. Therefore, it is worth considering that sometimes minibuses do not reach the entrance / exit, and you have to walk to a place where you can catch them. The impressions of Phaselis are the most pleasant: clean air, stunning views, ancient atmosphere and the opportunity to combine cultural holidays with beach holidays. We definitely recommend you to visit!

Phacelis as ruins is interesting, but it is completely unkempt, the buildings are dirty in the ruins of houses, everything is covered in weeds and garbage. We walked on our own, we got to the beginning of the Lycian trail from Chamiyuva on our own on a rented electric scooter, only when choosing a scooter you need to take a new one, and ask for the battery to be fully charged. We walked several kilometers further along the Lycian trail inside the forest, there are beautiful views of the coves, the first one is Paradise. You can swim. But we went on to Phaselis. It was a big orode, so there are already historical ruins in the forest. You can use the Yandex map, but it is advisable to download it in advance if you do not have a SIM card with the Internet. We arrived safely guided by the map and the trail. Of course, they did not go to the cash register, as they entered from the "back door". We examined most of the ruined monuments, but we didn't go up to the upper gate in the forest, because we were tired. We swam in the central bay, the good thing is that the approach, although along the galga, is normal, the coast is clean, the water is clear and warm, warmer than in the sea, there are no waves. They went back the same way.

The amphitheater is only practically whole. If you enter through a hole in the fence, you can save 10 euros per person. I met a family that was given a ride by a taxi driver. A lot of people come to the beach, there is a shower and a changing room. There are small shells on the beach, and you scoop up a hand full of shells. We got from Kirisha for 600 lire by taxi to the entrance, via Yandex taxi, and back by bus for 45 lire per person. Taxi drivers offered for 1000 one way or 2000 both ways with a wait of up to 3 hours.
