Located in the prestigious Beyoglu district, the Pen Museum is one of Istanbul's most vibrant cultural centers. It is located in the former Bristol Hotel, built in 1893, and combines the Ottoman heritage with modern exhibitions. The Pen Museum is a gallery. In addition to the permanent collection, temporary exhibitions are organized here. Moreover, the museum regularly hosts exhibitions of both contemporary artists and classics, from Picasso to Frida Kahlo. The museum opened in 2005 and quickly became a must-see for connoisseurs of art, history and culture.
