Our group (4 double & 1 single rooms) stayed two nights at the Pekin Hotel. It has a grand outlook, and due to nearby metro, easy access to everywhere. 👍 However, the lack of facilities and its obviously old furniture 👎, it was less comfortable, esp. after a long day. Most staff is friendly except for a female receptionist who declined to assist in reserving a local restaurant dinner table for us. In all, the cost, when compared with service and comfortability, is considered less attractive.

Bloody awful place, rude check in at desk, no help with luggage, mattress seen better days as if ten years old. Breakfast is a joke, cutting stay short. Will pay more to go elsewhere. It looks great but without decent check in and without good mattress what is point??
