This trail is marked on the map as an "eco-trail". This is absolutely not the case. I would call it a "dangerous one-time ride." The trail begins at a small sanctuary at the end of the beach, at the foot of the cliff itself. A whole family of monkeys lives here. You can safely approach them, but don't try to pet or feed them! They are wild animals and a pack! If one person doesn't like something, then you risk not being bitten by one monkey, but aggression from the whole pack. Then the trail goes for some time along the draining waters from the city, which stretch like a black foam slurry directly into the sea. The smell is terrible. Then the "eco-trail" continues in the form of a staircase, which is made by local "DIY" from everything that came to hand. A very heterogeneous and unsafe structure running along the cliff itself, sometimes even without railings. And there are bags, plastic bottles, and even rags hanging from the branches all the time. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the beach behind the rock. At the same time, please look only at your feet! And at the end of the trail is a beach surrounded by construction and noise. Beautiful rocks, but surrounded by piles of garbage and monkeys. If your health is dear to you, I do not recommend spoiling the impression of Krabi by walking along this trail.

It's a good trail, lots of monkeys, they're calm and don't touch anyone, and I didn't touch them. I took pictures on my phone without any problems, they didn't twitch. The wooden steps are in order - everything is safe with both handrails and bamboo. The total distance climb is 40m. I recommend coming early in the morning - all the monkeys on the road chill and wash themselves - a nice sight

We visited the trail today on 09/14/2024. We got into the rain, the steps and bridges are quite strong, the old steps are closed. It is a pity that the monkeys were not seen. We'll rest for another week, maybe we'll meet the inhabitants of the jungle))
