Review of McDonald's in Sharm el‑Sheikh: "Three points, and that's a stretch, but the story will be epic!" So, friends, imagine: the sun is frying, the sand is crunching under your feet, an oriental fairy tale is all around, and suddenly you want... a burger. Yes, yes, it's a burger! And so you, as a travel hero, go to McDonald's in Charm. What awaits you? I'll tell you now, with all the details and a pinch of humor. My first impression is, "Is this really Egypt?" I walk in, and it's like I'm in a parallel reality. Everything is so familiar: the yellow arches, the ordering terminals, the smell of French fries… But something is wrong. Maybe it's a local flavor? Or does it just seem to me that even the air here is saturated with the spirit of the "Arabian night"? In general, it feels like you are both at home and somewhere very far away. Order: "Oh, great terminal, tell me the secret of the menu!" I decide not to take any chances and take the classic Big Tastie. I tap on the screen, and it's... silent. Well, I'll try again. He's silent again! Apparently, the terminal decided that I wasn't a mysterious traveler enough. As a result, I had to go to the cashier and communicate with a real person. The cashier looked at me with an expression like I'd asked him to make a burger out of desert sand. But I still accepted the order. Waiting: "Time drags on like a camel in the desert." I stand and look at my watch. One minute... two... five... where's my burger?! I'm beginning to suspect that it's being prepared somewhere deep in the pyramid of Cheops. Finally, I hear, "Your order is ready!" and exhale. Food: "Delicious, but with reservations" Big Tastie looks delicious. I take a bite, and... well, basically, it's delicious. But where is the McDonald's magic that I remember from home? Maybe the spices are different here? Or is the bun slightly different? In general, it's delicious, but without the wow effect. French fries are normal, but not crispy, as we would like. The drink is ordinary, without surprises. Service: "Politeness is not about them" Staff… as if to be gentle... not particularly friendly. It feels like they're thinking, "Well, the tourists have come again, they're asking for burgers." No smiles, no "bon appetit." Just: "Your order", "That's so much for you." Maybe they're just having a hard day? Or is it a local feature? The atmosphere: "Not a cafe, but a branch of the desert" The hall is clean, but somehow ... without a soul. There is no such comfort that happens in McDonald's here. Maybe it's the lighting? Or is it that there are endless sands outside the window, and not city lights? So you're sitting there thinking, "Am I really in fast food, and not in an adventure movie set?" Price: "Oh, my dollars!" And now the most interesting thing is the price. My Big Tastie cost $270 Egyptian pounds. I convert it to rubles, and I realize that I could buy two of these burgers at home. Well, tourism is expensive, and fast food in Egypt is even more expensive. The result: three points out of five Why three? Because: The food is generally normal, but not enthusiastic. The service is at the level of "we weren't expecting you, but you came." The atmosphere is like they built a McDonald's in the desert and forgot to add a soul. The price is it bites like a mosquito in the night. But! If you really want a burger, and there are only pyramids and camels around, then this McDonald's is your lifeline. Just don't expect miracles. And take a good mood with you — it will definitely come in handy here! Recommendation: If you're into Charm and your soul is begging for fast food, take a look. But if you have the opportunity to try the local cuisine, you'd better do it. After all, Egypt is not only burgers, but also shawarma, kebabs and other gastronomic delights! P.S. My verdict: "It is possible, but not necessary."

This is the dirtiest and longest mac I've been in. The locals don't rush the word at all. I had 4 orders in front of me, and I have an order for 2 ice creams. I waited for more than 15 minutes. The toilet is closed. A man was standing in front of me, taking it for the family, they didn't put the sauce on the French fries alone and something else. Kapets in general.
