HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE FAMOUS GEORGIAN HOSPITALITY? — ZURAB AND HIS WIFE DID THEIR BEST FOR THE WHOLE WORLD. 6.01.26. fate itself brought us to this place! We drove 3.5 hours from Tbilisi to explore the fortress: we were dead, tired and hungry, we began to break into all the cafes and restaurants in a row, but everything we came across does not work in winter. We saw a single window with a cozy light burning inside, came up and immediately turned around, because a huge dog was sleeping right on the threshold in front of the door, and we saw all kinds of dogs in Georgia and peed. But when we had already moved away, the owner himself came out of the house and called us inside. I can't believe we almost missed our best night in Georgia so easily! We returned, hugged the dog (it turned out to be the kindest), were glad that Zurab speaks Russian (we came to Georgia without any knowledge of English, don't be like us), and then an amazing experience happened to us! We went into a small cozy room completely hung with paintings by the hostess of the establishment, and until the last moment, until we left, we had the feeling that we were visiting friends whom we know well, but have not seen for a long time, and all the visitors did their best to share this time with each other. other warmth, travel experiences, tips, and funny situations. The owner sat with us, said a lot of interesting, useful and just humanly good things. The hostess is a great woman, I just admire her kindness and generosity. On food: even we non-drinking vegetarians had something to eat, so much so that we ate our fill and took half of it with us. The prices are also as sincere as possible — for example, the royal khachapuri was charged for 15 lari (450 rubles), for comparison, in the same Tbilisi Mall in the food court they bought cheese pizza for 23 lari the day before. Saying goodbye, we hugged everyone like family and took pictures. This is the best place we've been in all of Georgia.
