There is coarse sand on this beach, the sea is clean, calm, transparent. As a rule, there are much fewer vacationers, since everyone is relaxing on Patong (but there, fine sand mixes near the shore and a fine suspension of sand and water rises at the entrance and seems opaque and dirty, which is not present on Kalim). There is a small stretch of coastline and a lot of large stones, which are almost all under the treetops. Most often I came in the morning and there was always a smooth surface at sea, you could swim even at great depth and see the seabed.

I recommend. The northernmost (best part) Patong. The beach is interesting. Fine sand and large rocks (mini-rocks). Swimming is convenient. The water is blue and clear, even at depth.
