The Book City store is one of the largest bookstores not only in Almaty, but throughout Central Asia. The range is impressive, and the prices are generally reasonable.

Good assortment of books, convenient location. Very nice staff. There are also books that are not available elsewhere. I am glad to have books in a foreign language.
