They beg for treats from the staff, cheat and demonstrate a complete lack of fear and dislike for the staff. We took a taxi from Kata beach for 1,500 baht. The entrance is 100 baht, the child participated in the program alone, his ticket is 1600 baht. We feel sorry for the elephants and we did not plan to climb on them, we did not want to pay 1400-1600 baht for each one. The program is quite short, 10 minutes. Then the elephants are doused with water and they go to rest. A basket with carrots is 100 baht, you can also come and feed it. Food, of course, is expensive there, drinks are also 2-3 times more expensive than everywhere else. But the area is very beautiful, you can stay on the free sun loungers and swim in this picturesque place. There are organized photo zones, but even without them there is a place to take pictures
