We stopped by for a short swim and freshen up) We found a beach in Orsha on Yandex maps. It turned out to be a generally pleasant place: a sandy beach, you can comfortably sit on the grass, there is a gentle descent to the water for adults and children, a sandy bottom, buoys. Parking is a 5-minute walk away. The place is popular, there are a lot of tourists)) 👍 We liked it, we were passing through from St. Petersburg. Have a good rest!

There is no beach in Orsha anymore. What they've done now is just some kind of nightmare! Trees and willows were cut down, which provided shade in the heat and were a natural barrier from the roadway and the maternity hospital. And now it's a wasteland overgrown with quinoa as tall as a man! Even the old shop with a canopy was torn out! It's just a place where you don't want to go.

I wish there was more sand on the beach and the descents to the water could be made somehow more even. And if this is a beach that is allowed for swimming, why are there so many stones in the water that both children and adults kick their feet against! Can't they be removed from there?

Back in 2024, it was a perfectly acceptable place to relax, where you could swim, lie down both in the sun and in the shade of large trees. But the year 2025 has come and the city authorities have decided to reconstruct (i.e. destroy) the beach. They caught up with the equipment, which destroyed the natural landscape, cut down trees, poured sand (read stones), moved the locker room to the devil knows where and ... nothing more. Oh, yes!They threw four beds, hastily made of planks, so that it would not hurt to lie on the rocks.... the whole city. They also installed a beach PLAN on the stand. And there's a volleyball court, and outdoor trade, an embankment and ladders, and all sorts of other things.But summer is running out on the calendar, and no one is doing anything. And they wrote in the local media since the spring that they would do, they would do, they would do ... and they did nothing!! At least they didn't spoil what happened.Thank you so much for the ruined beach to our district executive committee.

It's a terrible horror. You can't even call it a beach. In a city like this, you can and should do something decent. No canopies, no sand near the clean water, no water to take offense and fruits to wash. It's pathetic, creepy. The mayor needs to pay attention, and at least next year make a decent place to relax in the city center! In the end, it is possible and necessary to sell ice cream and soft drinks. Put "mushrooms " for shade, a decent locker room.
