A large, spacious hall. Live music in the evenings. A comfortable atmosphere. The menu is in Armenian, Russian and English. The weight of the dishes is not specified in the menu. Not all dishes are visually represented in the menu. Excellent cuisine. The appearance of the prepared dishes corresponds to the image in the menu. Very tasty putty, about 1700rubles. All the dishes on the grill are amazingly cooked, especially lamb ikibir, about 1100 rubles per serving. It is a pity not to be able to try the fish performed by the brazier. The mood was spoiled by the waiters, showing a sample of poor service. We had a table and some dishes booked for 18.00, an advance payment was made. But the tables were not set by that time. They brought us water, but they didn't bring us glasses. We had to ask the waiter to bring us glasses. The waiters passed our request to each other and it took us a while to get the glasses, and not all of them were taken out. I had to ask again. At the same time, in a somewhat reproachfully apologetic tone, they informed them that the tables were not set, since "your order was at 19"!! Although we reminded them after the pre-order, in the late afternoon, about the time of our arrival. Many restaurants in Armenia, but not all, have a 10% "service fee" - a fixed tip, regardless of how the waiter works. This is a rather vicious practice that discourages the waiter from doing high-quality work. But, when we asked if they had a 10% service fee, the waiter said that: "we do not include a service fee, everything is at the discretion of the visitors." It turned out that this was not the case. After receiving the receipt, we saw a note about the 10% fee included in the bill. Only the high-quality cuisine saved the restaurant's rating. Service - 3, kitchen - 5. The average is -4.

New Year's Eve in Armenia. To be honest, I didn't have much hope going on this trip. But New Year's Yerevan has conquered. We also had a festive night at the very atmospheric Babylon restaurant. I'll start with the interior and decoration: very atmospheric, lots of ethnic elements in the design, unobtrusive, but very stylish and cozy. The festive decor both in the hall and on the terrace gave a special fabulous mood on the eve of the New Year. Hospitable, attentive staff, from hostesses to bartenders and waiters. We were received as the most expensive guests. The cuisine is very diverse and incredibly delicious, with that unique Caucasian flavor.I also want to mention the wonderful musical accompaniment of the holiday. We celebrated the New Year with a lot of fun. For this, heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of this wonderful restaurant. You guys are the best! The food was delicious, but not all, they took a loin of lamb, served cold and overexposed on the fire, and asked the waiter to warm it up. Hot food should not be served cold. We stopped for lunch due to the proximity to the hotel. 1) Separate pages of the menu are torn 2) serving the dish took 25 minutes when boarding at 5 tables in the entire establishment 3) when calculating, there was a request to include a bottle of water with you. We visited the Babelon restaurant in the center of Yerevan next to the Four Season Park and were completely delighted! A real Oriental/Mediterranean cuisine with authentic dishes, each of which is cooked with soul. Good afternoon. I read the reviews below, it turned out that not only we were so "lucky" with the service. He just wasn't there. At first, they waited almost 20 minutes for our order to be taken, they wanted to leave already, unfortunately they stayed. We ordered Tiramisu, tea, grilled fish with a side dish, homemade potatoes, and eggplant rolls. Tea with tiramisu was brought 15 minutes after the order, 30 minutes later rolls (eggplant rolls), 40 minutes later potatoes without fish, 50 minutes later fish and then after my remark. Then I caught the waiter to get us settled. And to the pile: They did not put Napkins on our table, they did not give sugar for tea, the dirty dishes were removed just before the calculation, the fish was salted on the back, and according to the periphery, it was generally fresh. I expressed my dissatisfaction with what was happening to the waiter and pointed out that in their place it would be a shame to include 10% for the service. There were no apologies, and 10% for the service was included in the receipt.

The dish ordered for the child was confused, the waiters waited for the serving and offered to replace the chicken with a kebab. We refused, they apologized, made the right dish. 2. They didn't bring water. 3. We entered water (which was not brought) and 2 extra items in the receipt. The receipt was in Armenian, but we saw it and asked to translate it into English. Total:5 thousand drams more were eventually included in the receipt.Of course, we asked for the receipt to be redone. I will not comment on it.
