There is a good bus station from which buses leave for the south of Spain! There are cafes and shops!

A large bus station. Buses all over Spain. The entrance to the subway is from the inside. Automatic luggage storage. A large cell for a couple of large suitcases for 5 euros per day. It is very convenient to leave your things and take a walk around Madrid. Then they will return for their belongings and take the subway to the airport.
